I've been thinking about shifting my TF2 playstyle. I never seem to get any better now, and I think it's because I play all classes equally. Maybe if I main a class, I could be as good as I want to be.
Pyro's playstyle, while gimmicky and fun, just doesn't speak to me like it used to.
Heavy is quite simple. I like that. His large HP pool lets me engage in shotgun skirmishes with better results than with Pyro, which supports my favorite type of play. I might roll Heavy main. He's just always been my favorite class, whether I was good with him or not.
I want to prove to people that a Heavy can be just a wise a choice as a Soldier or a Demoman, without being one of those dead-weight Minigun-only Heavies.

Same here. I am jealous of people who main a class and get better at it.
Scout? I have terrible aim but his speed and the ability to pick a target and kill it with a few shots motivates me to get better at him. But playing him alone can feel a bit boring.
Soldier? Doing well with him doesn't really require a lot skill but special techniques like airshots and rocketjumps interest me.
Pyro? Airblasting people is fun but I don't like his limiting short range.
Demoman? The nade launcher and stickies are very powerful but it makes me a bit nervous that you can' really shoot anybody directly like you can as soldier or scout. Playing demoknight is fun.
Heavy? I like his high health and short-mid range dps but I dislike his limited mobility and defenseless when shooting with the minigun.
Engineer? I have no idea where to place sentries and dispensers but building things is fun.
Medic? Healing people is satisfying but I have no idea when to pop an uber and how to position myself when healing.
Sniper? I hate snipers but the fact that you can change a lot by being a good one kinda makes me want to get good at sniping.
Spy? Suck hard as him. But getting a backstab is very satisfying.
Overall i suck at all classes and have no idea which to main :/
