This is the first time in 3 months that I've made any significant progress.

    I might actually graduate.

Going to get i5 3570K today

FINALLY a replacement for my celeron E1400, I wonder what it's like to have a faster than average computer
My computer makes me detest my school computers. they are just horrifyingly slow now. (school has E8400's with 2 GB of single channel 667 DDR2 and shitty integrated X3100 graphics, i have a Q6600 at 3.2, 4 GB of 1333 DDR3 and a 1 GB GTX 460)

I forgot to check the socket of that i5 3570k, luckily I did before buying it

Seems like I have to buy a new mobo for it

Well, screw that plan, I am going to save some more money and build a new one from scratch, excluding my already upgraded graphics card

Just add a bit more RAM, A good GPU and the school computers would be pretty good.

Probably the problem there is the bloatware.

    Woo, paper's almost done.
All I need to do is write stuff on who controls the Internet, what the heck Tor, I2P, Freenet, CJDNS and Meshnet are, censorship in general and I need to improve my section on deep packet inspection.

    And it's almost fucking midnight.
    I am going to die.

Fuck it, time to cut corners.

Ayep. Even though only one or 2 computers per room AT MOST ever use the touchscreen smartboards, every single fucking computer in the school has the ENTIRE SOFTWARE SWITE FOR THEM. And considering they only have 160 GB hard drives and the C drive only has 60 and indeed 52 of those are full.... yeah. and they all have steadystate, so only admins get to save shit on them

No. Absolutely not. What gives you a crazy idea like that?

    Pornography.
Yes. To be precise, all of it. I now own all the porn. Ever. Even the illegal stuff - especially the illegal stuff. Seriously, I'm swimming in a pool of teenage redhead lesbians right now.

    That ASUS laptop?
    This.

    Asus G55VW.

    Ivy Bridge Core i7 (quad-core, hyperthreaded, 2.3GHz)
GeForce 660M - yes, that one IS a Kepler
    1080p screen, 15.6"
    12GB of 1600MHz RAM
    750GB 7200RPM primary drive, 64GB Crucial M4 secondary (plus a DVD-RW drive)

The best part about this thing I'm writing, the teacher who has to go through all this shit isn't the brightest light bulb in the batch if you get what I mean, her head is going to explode trying to follow how I explain Caesar's cipher and public key crypto.

I think I'll make my explanation of the Spartan scytale even harder to follow.

From what I've heard my older Asus can take a 560 or the 660 as an upgrade for my 460, but that'd cost me an arm and leg.

Wait, she can't understand a simple displacement cipher and you're trying to explain public key crypto?

I'm not sure if you're aiming to get good marks or to break your teacher.
