My computer makes me detest my school computers. they are just horrifyingly slow now. (school has E8400's with 2 GB of single channel 667 DDR2 and shitty integrated X3100 graphics, i have a Q6600 at 3.2, 4 GB of 1333 DDR3 and a 1 GB GTX 460)

Just add a bit more RAM, A good GPU and the school computers would be pretty good.
Probably the problem there is the bloatware.

Ayep. Even though only one or 2 computers per room AT MOST ever use the touchscreen smartboards, every single fucking computer in the school has the ENTIRE SOFTWARE SWITE FOR THEM. And considering they only have 160 GB hard drives and the C drive only has 60 and indeed 52 of those are full.... yeah. and they all have steadystate, so only admins get to save shit on them

The best part about this thing I'm writing, the teacher who has to go through all this shit isn't the brightest light bulb in the batch if you get what I mean, her head is going to explode trying to follow how I explain Caesar's cipher and public key crypto.

From what I've heard my older Asus can take a 560 or the 660 as an upgrade for my 460, but that'd cost me an arm and leg.
