    What did Machinima do ?

Apart from the oil and the children
They take advantage of young and inexperienced kids for the most part and have them sign something they don't understand. But there is one clause where the contract can't be broken from the users end and can only be broken on Machinina's end but at the same time is supposedly perpetual, where it lasts forever. I don't feel I was cheated really, because I read my contract over about 20 times and had many people in my family read it to see if anything looked odd, they all said it looked fine.

Thankfully that is illegal and the contract basically is void. Even youtube apparently came out and told networks it's a shitty thing to do and they can kick them off the site for it. So now Machinima is now moving people over to 3,5,7 year contracts which are legit, which means you're stuck legally to that 3, 5, 7 year contract.

I'm going to use both their lack of communication and also the fact that my current contract is legally bullshit to get out of the system and move to curse which is much smaller, designed around content creators, not a brand, and one of the highest paying CPM I've ever seen. Just speaking with the rep who deals with this stuff already, she was really personable and understood my position well since I guess she's worked with many people moving from Machinima with a bad taste.

I sent an email to my "contact" at machinima with some questions, if he fucked it up like they have for the past year, I'm going to then send in an email requesting to be dropped from the network with my contract cancelled. The contract for Curse is public information and they make it open to what they let people agree to and what they expect.

The business of machinima are cunts. But the people there are pretty chill people. It's a shame that so many nice people there are tied to the bullshit.

Should i buy the Lumia 800 or wait until windows phone 8 comes out. Will the Lumia 800 get updates to windows phone 8?
I have the Lumia 800, but I don't know if we get the update or not. Some sources say we do, others say we don't.

But you're better of asking in the Windows Phone 7 thread.

I would be completely and utterly shocked if they didn't update the 800, it is one of their flagship devices isn't it? And you really don't want to be dicking around like that with such a low market share.

My coworker wants to run a CS server on it or a VOIP server on it. My boss said today we'd put it on our shelf to mess with it, but not sure we can load something like that on it. Maybe I'll put a MC server on it and let people blow up TNT on it.

    Edited:

What do you guys think I should put on it to load it. We have a firewall-less DSL line in this room for testing VPN and tunnelling software. I could put it on there.

I checked some article on that and apparently it's an old leak from last year, some accounts are invalid and about 9000 are spam accounts.

My boss left like 20 minutes ago, then came back in and said, "So how's everything going..."

"Well i'm just running the extended diagnostics to see how it's doing."

"Welp, load it up with something. Let's play around with it. See you tomorrow."

"Alright I'll do my best, see you tomorrow."

I'm going to setup a RAID0 probably of all the drives. I can put a total of six 10k 74gb SCSI in the chassis.

Someone help, my laptop just said "Windows is shutting down in 1 minute" in an error dialogue, it then opened task manager after a minute, killed all processes itsself then shutdown windows but left the laptop running, I restarted and it seems to work but I haven't logged in.

Walked into my IT lesson today and the computer where I sit was missing and there was a brand new PC in the next workstation over that seemingly had a graphics card in it, twice the size of the normal computers, teacher had no idea where mine was or where the one next to me came from, some girl used it to check Johnny Depp fan websites, was hoping to find out what spec it was.
