They're the easiest T8 tank to kill. Any decent gun above T6 or T7 can pen them easily and reliably, the only tank I had trouble fighting type 59's in was my type 59 because of the shitness that is the d10t. No decent T8 tank driver should be having trouble with a single type 59.

I can fight Panther II's and T-44's fairly easily, Pershings are a challenge, and I typically lose against Type 59's.
It's funny because if this game had more decent players the Panther II would be horrifying but it seems no one can use it right.

Type59's are easy to kill.
Maybe it's just because I drive one and am aware of the weakspots.
I'd have a harder time against a T-44. Such a big juice turret on the type59

What tank are you driving thats making you loose against a type 59? Seriously, it's gun is shit, its speed is shit, its armor is shit but its saved by its slopes, and those will only stop a shell from a T6 tank.

I don't understand the trouble with the type 59, I've ammoracked so many of them... it's like they're an ammorack on tracks.

I pretty much never get through the hull at anything other than point blank in my T-44 with LB-1
If you can hit it from the side its totally fucked, but the front is Leopard grade dingtanium, and its gun has pretty much the exact same stats at the T-44s as well.

Bumps the ammorack health from one-shottable 170 to strong 255 which is more than the E-50's ammoracks and almost as much as the Patton's.

Last I checked, it's gun is the same as the D10T, which is the same on the T34-85, right? It's gun is sub par and trash, but thats just because I have an irational hatred for it and the short 88.

The thing is, in low tier matches, a good Type 59 is weak to good players.
And what do public matches lack? Yep. I feel really dirty, but this thing prints credits way faster than my Lowe.

I can't believe they put the Type 59 for sale. I say meh to it. Only premium tanks I would buy now are T6 and below.

Today somehow I managed to kill a Type 59 with my Lowe with a frontal shot; well the shot didn't kill him, some how I managed to set him on fire and then I did it again with a T28(Which surprised me more).
I also purchased the PzKpfw 38 nA, going to try to get the PZIV. By the first battle I got with it(Two T95s on the enemy team, got killed in a single shot), that I can tell it is going to be a long and painful grind.

The massive amount of buyers remorse I have for the Lowe, which I even got half off of the original price, means I'll probably never buy a premium tank again.
