energy shield is way better than jammer

I saved up all my tribes pointz in my piggy bank and got a nova colt cause brute is my jam
Is my aim awful or is it inaccurate past a certain distance? (my aim is awful)

id say its pretty hard to hit anyone with anything at certain distances especially in tribes

yeah i tried zooming in with the sniper rifle and then switch to brute on target practice and it didn't hit the stationary target
i did notice there seems to be a tiny ammount of spread on it and that is probably why

It's hard as fuck to hit with even though it's hitscan, but at medium range midair it's great.

simple fix to llama grabbing: fast paths can splatter slower ones, so you splatter the llama dude and get the flag

the blood eagle announcer still says "go ahead and die because ur all dead to me" even if you win...

It's situational. I usually use the jammer pack because it makes it easier to avoid being hit in the first place, and it helps with the raider's role (you know, blowing up the turrets and harassing the flagstand). Most players rely heavily on the IFF icons too which owns.

energy shield might be better on most situations. but when there is too many techs, jammer is better or when there is too many infiltrators raping ur gen

I'm so used to using the Jammer pack now that I don't need a shield to protect me from damage since I avoid most of it, even when I do take damage I'm usually killing enough people to heal from all their ammo drops anyway.

leave the gen room for inf's, your job as raider is to clear out the flag stand and distract the hof and any defense they have.
arx has too little ammo to effectively shut down buildings, grenade launcher has unreliability on landing on them, and without energy shield you have a lower chance of winning duels.

sneaky in enemy base.
avoid long range sentinels.
defend base/gen from infiltrators.
attacking enemy base/gen with alot of techs.
destroy base turrets at close range.
so no.

Yeah.. that's why I said it's situational. Getting stomped because the jammer pack is doing you no good? Switch to the shield pack. It's not a difficult concept.

Your logic here is terrible. If it's situational, in some situations it'll be better, in some worse. As I said previously, I find that the way I play raider lends itself more to the use of the jammer pack. If I want to tank a load of damage I'll use the shield pack, but a hit and run or sneaky play style is a lot more effective when trying to play the role the class is designed for.
