    Hello facepuncher's !

Basicly i have a little question,
i've been using photoshop cs5 for a while now, and basicly did nothing but make wallpapers, and small edit's of person's and color changing of hair, eyes and making their teeth white.

    But that's all.

Lately i've saw something that gained my intrest!

With some-sort-of-filtering u could see the edit lines, it would become abit grainy and u could ee if it was edit, or not.

Please let me know if u can help me figure out how to do this.

I'm sorry if posted in wrong section, but don't know where else to post this.

    Kind regards!
    -Siem.

The general photoshop thread would've worked for this but... what?

I've been using Photoshop seriously for six years now, and probably played around with it and GIMP for a good three years before that, and I've never heard of this.

I mean, I can kind of see the theory behind it, but you can't magically use a filter to find out if an image is photoshopped.

    ...what?

I might be able to figure this out if you can give me a before and after shot of a picture. Find the mechanics behind it and find out what it is.

    Edited:

Of course, I can tell a shop from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

you can compare the pixels and then see if the photo is edit, or not.
