    Then buy LED bulbs which replicate incandescents?



    We have 6 of these in our house. You can put it side-by-side with a incandescent and not be able to tell the difference in light.
    what's the name of these bulbs i'd like to buy one

    We've had this discussion before, wasn't it proven that the bulb was underpowered which increased lifespan tenfold?

    the trick is to use white light and use tan colored objects throughout your home.


    paint your walls light brown/tan

    So they will last about 6 years under normal usage.
    I built a light bulb that was meant to last more than 50 years

    Or just cover the lightbulb with a tan paper that the light could easily shine through.

    Bet the companys make it so the light bulbs die within 6 months. Otherwise they would go out of business.

    All of our LED bulbs are almost a year old now.

    If it is gonna last 23 years it makes me wonder what will happen if the light bulb falls and breaks or something and the gases inside are released.....Boom?
