    As some or all of you may know, there was a solar eclipse today, visible to the the west coast of America, Canada, Mexico, and any other countries that could still see the sun at 6:30 PM PST.

    The reason for this thread... Well.. I figured at least a couple other people on these forums took pictures of the eclipse as well, and solar eclipses can make for magnificent pictures if you're in the right place. Plus, anyone that missed out on the eclipse can check it out here!

    Please post where you were when you took the picture!

    Here is mine, taken through a welding mask:

    I live in Canada. Everything in the sky hates Canada. So we can't see anything. :( That's a pretty cool picture though!

    I don't know (or don't have the proper equipment) to take pictures of the sun, but I got two pictures of shadows that were all swirly due to the moon blocking part of the sun.

    I didn't know if it was an eclipse or not. It was still fucking yellow.

    Ill be in Iceland for the 2015 eclipse . I've got photos that ill put up of the one in Cairns that happened on the 14th of November I'll upload em when I get back home
