This is like a STALKER fan's dream.
I just found out today that it'll be in theaters tomorrow. Whoop!
Seeing the trailer on tv had me interested. I probably won't go to see it in theaters, but I will definitely catch it some time.
Seeing this on Friday right before I'm going camping in the middle of the forest at night.
I thought it would be a documentary, and then watched the trailer. I really want to watch this now
Did they just go into the reactor?
It looks a bit trashy, but hopefully it makes up for it with nice shots of Pripyat and more of the tour guide's entertaining accent.
Its from the guy who directed/wrote the paranormal activity movies , I love those so much , can't wait for this to come to our theaters.
this looks like absolute shit
Got a bit of a the hill have eyes vibe going on.
Russian/Ukrainian dude sucks at Russian/Ukrainian.
I'm ready for this forreal.
I saw the shorter trailers for this some time ago, and it looks like a generic "being hunted by some form of murderous human or humans" film, but set in post-Chernobyl Pripyat. Nothing I saw seemed to be interesting or unique - it looked incredibly generic.
I don't like watching long trailers, even for films like this, where there's an off chance I may actually want to see it, because they almost exclusively give away too much, so I'll just ask this of this who have watched it:
Does it seem like another generic "being hunted by some form of murderous human or humans" film, or does it actually seem a bit more interesting (mutants, plot-twists, other elements to not make it generic as all fuck)?
But Paranormal Activity sucks ass.
That's like putting "From the creator of Transformers" on your poster.
Personally, I've never seen any of them, but I do know quite a few people who thoroughly enjoy them…
As for this movie, it looks okay. As people have already said, it looks like another generic horror/being chased by some paranormal thing movie.
…But I love stories involving Chernobyl so I will definitely catch it at some point.
Even thought the popular opinion on PA is "it sucks ass" I still love the fuck out of all of them .
I don't like how in the poster you can't actually see the power plant, like the old classical shape you see from stalker...
lol my friends and I decided to watch it dressed up like STALKERS.
Movie sucked ass but we laughed at everything. Also, Atomic bear
would have been nice if the girl Got away from lab place in the end
wow stalker actually got enough recognition and popularity they made an exploitation film out of it?
and for anyone who cannot see this is clearly a stalker fan exploitation film.
what other outlets are highlighting chernobyl? fuck none. plus they have some shitty live action stalker tv series
they could've done so much more with it, they could've made it so much better
it was ok though
For those who have seen it (and please use spoiler tags):
The girl with the blond hair (not the one from 5secfilms), how do they meet her? And as the actress is Norwegian, is her character also?
Saw this a couple of nights back. Was supposed to be going to see The Dictator but the projector fucked up so we swapped films about 20 minutes in. Managed to get in during the previews for this though.
It was an alright movie. I did get a bit tense at times but it wasn't exactly mind-blowing. It followed a lot of cliches and it was definitely one of those movies where you can't help but scream at how stupid some of the character's choices were (I swear people in the upper rows were saying how dumb the characters were.)
I liked the movie up until the middle part where I suppose the "twist" came in. It started out decent but it took a massive dive for me once the twist comes in for the final...30-45 minutes or so.
