Im looking for any possible way to install 64bit windows due to the fact im not getting the sue of all my RAM,

not very keen on the idea of having to backup everything since i only have a 100gig HDD and copying over all my games would take a stupid amount of time,

Nah, you can't switch architectures without a complete reinstall

No, but if you select upgrade, when it informs you that you can't, it'll move all the old files to a folder called Windows.old, and you can just copy your games from the old install to the new one. Steam games are remarkably easy to move, just install Steam on the new OS and move the files before the first log in. It should just detect everything, and after a bit of verifying a few game caches, it'll start anything without reinstalling.
