I still can't believe the journalist on pc gamer that barely believed it was modeled. Also no the silencer mask concept art isn't a cover that shits legitimate premodel art.

Im sorry, I really want to be "that" guy, but I really need your help. I can't convert my TGA texture back into VTX. Atleast not wit hthe Cannonfodder Studio compiler, I always get an error that the new file can't be created.
Are there any alternatives to this?

VTX? is VTF, open VTF edit and clic "New" - Search image - Size 256x256
That looks amazing so far - are you using Zbrush/other 3d sculpting software?
I really like the mix-up of her original style, are the smaller 'gem' areas going to be more elaborate when you further develop the concept?
Also have you thought of adding some detail to make your hood unique? Something basic like a Tiara/Headband could add some flair.

Make sure the jewels you make are large enough to be seen from far away. The block in gems look kinda small right now. You might also exaggerate some aspect of the shoulder area, or maybe change it up some, so that it doesn't match the current model as much in that area.

It got removed from the game.
Anyone know of any good rigging tutorials/guides/resources for Source? I keep having to rework ideas because my misty understanding of painting weights in Max is turning clipping-removal into a real pain in the ass. As much as I'd love to just slap together a static OBJ and ship it to Valve, it ain't gonna happen.

I load them in vtfedit and then i i export in .tga, which i load in photoshop

I was thinking of a concept for Storm Spirit.
He seems to like attention, especially when leveling. (Was that a spotlight? On me?) So how about a "Movie star" esque set for him?
Maybe he could have oversized shades that are a typical movie star stereotype, with a mirror in one of his hands as a weapon replacement (Ooh, who's that handsome devil?) that he zaps lightning out of/off of. And maybe a couple of cell phones stuck into his belt. Maybe even a mustache comb for good measure?

Cool model man, make sure to add a ring to the end of the weapon though. Ingame Pudge has chains connected to his weapons.
He has to have a shield, otherwise it looks like Sven.

The ability is called Dragon Tail.
Doesn't change the fact that he uses a shield to do it.
i really don't get why people get so hung up over items not fitting the dota "lore" or whatever. it's a game in which you can be a fat zombie butcher having a fight with a wizard riding his staff around like a broomstick and a guy with a fucking sniper rifle but bluh bluh bluh this doesn't fit the canon it can't possibly be added to the game!
Not talking about the items specifically, but It's the difference between having some semblance of in-lore seriousness, however small, and turning it into a sarcastic-clown, 4th-wall-breaking party/vaudeville, like TF2 (which is not a bad thing, but we already *have* it).
