Two I've done recently.
Windrunner + Nature's Prophet.
Prophet throws down trees surround, guaranteed shackleshot.
Faceless Void + Enchantress.
Usually easier during team fights but still viable during laning, Void's Chronosphere with Enchantress at the range for her impetus to do max damage is truly a amazing thing. This becomes almost a guaranteed double kill during mid/late game team fights where Enchantress with Scepter can easily target whoever was unlucky enough to get caught in the Chronosphere that isn't being attacked by Void.

Ancient Apparition and Dragon Knight
1. Apply cold feet
2. Get DK to stun
3. Enjoy 10 year stun

That's basically a worse version of Leshrac + Dragon Knight, because you don't have the fucking incredible edict damage to follow up (shit is scary when you're level 2).

With Deadpool you can go Magic Series -> Launch -> M M H -> Ninja gift (Bolo) -> Land -> Medium Quick work -> Cutting Time. I think it builds around half a bar, and you can start it off of a jab or a slide, making it deadly in many situations.

Leshrac depends upon landing stun and no creeps being around to eat up the edict explosions.
May be worse but it's more dependable.

The DK stun allows you to set it up.

The DK stun is horribly disadvantaged as it requires you to be right next to them though.
ie most competent enemies will run when they see DK coming toward them.

Ogre magi and Pugna.
Decrep + multicast fireblast.
Hell any strong nuker and pugna will melt face on any hero.

Chaos Knight and Axe.
No idea but it worked really well in one game. Reality rift and Berserker's call will keep the enemy at bay from running away.

OH WHAT'S THAT? YOU HAVE A CARRY AND A SUPPORT IN A LANE? HOW CUTE. ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MY STUNS/DICK WITH A HELPING HAND OF MALEDICKTION/RAPE AND MY BURST DAMAGE/MASSIVE DILDO.

If you go in lane with 10 clarities and nothing else, you have a serious mental problem.
Or just play in Low Matchmaking.

Sand King+Tinker, SK stuns and tinker rapes with his first both skills

Tinker doesn't need help from anybody to rape with his first both skills tho.
Get a Force Staff/Blink Dagger and there you are.

Rhasta Shaman and Gondar.
I had some great moments with those, being rhasta myself. We fucked Riki and Tinker over a couple of times, HARD.

juggernaut + anyone with an immobilize or a huge slow is glorious

What else are you going to spend your money on? Stat items to help your autoattack last hit? Why not get clarities to abuse your 700 range chain lightning which essentially replaces your autoattack. You can get hp pots or tangoes but you can easily get last hits from safety 700 units away.

Enigma + kunkka
If you're in a pub and enigma gets 4 people in a black hole, smash their face in with the boat.
It does so much damage, don't get me started what happens when you throw in earthshaker

Yep I've found myself getting last hits with the chain arc lightning too, but still my starting items as Zeus are 2x +3 int items (if i go 2 nulls, sometimes 1 null 1 bracer), a manapot or two, 1 tangoes, branches.
Farm up bottle as fast as you can, because at levels 1-3 you can't harass much yet because no skills. Once you get bottle, you can harass the shit out of enemy mid laner, watching out for Runes and on you go with the game.

Now that rubick is up, one little friend for him.
Ancient Apparition. You will never miss a cold feet or ulti with him around.
Later on, when Techies is added, he also works. Put mines somewhere and just toss the enemy there.

And then you start with 3 HP and a half, and roaming Earthshaker fissures you and you become first blood for the enemy Shadow Fiend that was midding against you.
You just lost your lane with no way to win it back and fed first blood to the enemy carry.
If you want to do that, keep buying clarities, if not, start buying stat items.

though i gotta say Zeus's auto-attacking feels horrible, and there's not much attack speed available. which probably isn't even needed..

Techies and Pudge. Hook into mines.

Just saw axe + tiny lane.
They raped ass. Tiny just tossed axe around and he taunted and spun like a motherfucker.

Double mine + throwing someone at them? Hell yeah!

You can't steal allied spells.

I feel like Treant would be a pretty baller partner for a DK. Dragon Blood + Living Armour = hella regen and armour, Leech Seed helps to slow dudes down so DK can do his melee stun and Nature's Guise means he can do SICK NASTY GANKS.

Rubick + any hero with a 'skill shot' (Kunkka's Torrent, Leshrac's Split Earth, Techies' mines, Invoker's EMP...) is an incredibly obvious combo, no idea why everyone keeps posting them and thinking that nobody thought of that.

Enchantress & Ursa. I was about to go Dire jungle (I was Dire) but seeing as Ursa was soloing bot and said he would solo it, I went there with him anyway.
And with Pudge in mid we pwned the Dire bot lane. The first lane creep pull the Radiant did at bot, we were there and chased them away and ganked them eventually.. All the way until the 2 quit and "gg."
Also Me,Ursa and Pudge hiding behind the trees at bot opposite of sideshop, so I send my just enchanted centaur khan in at Pudge's command, I stun both necrolyte and spirit breaker (who pudge hooks), and double gank woop!

I've only started playing dota recently, but had a lot of fun with a Tidehunter + Tiny lane. Tiny would toss me into them so that I could ult properly, given enough enemies, a poor mans blink dagger I guess. Well.. not really a blink when you see a giant rock throwing a huge sea leviathan in your face.

Yeah I figured that out on live, but you can still just throw them at his mines.

Just played 3 games in a row with a friend, where I was shadow shaman and he was chaos knight. We steamrolled in all three. I'm not sure if it's actually an effective combo, or we just got lucky.

I think I saw something like this happen once in one of those dota fail videos on youtube.
It was a veno and some other hero that I don't remember. They were taking damage over time from an invisible unit, and only when they got to half of it they started running away, the venomancer dying.

Warlock and Jarkio - Warlock using the Fatal bonds followed by the AoE attacks of Jakiro can do shit tones of damage. My Friend and I managed to drop all 5 heroes (bots) because of
Macropyre combined with Fatal bonds cause them to take nearly double damage. They were all caught in the macropyre after catching the bots just after they tried to Roshan.
Dropping fatal bonds on a creep wave followed by Jakiro's dual breath and a liquid fire hit can cause tons of damage over.
Pairing Warlock up with a hero that can do a lot of AoE damage combined with his Fatal Bonds will drop creep waves fast and help a lot in team fights.
