It IS a homage to the T-Rex from Meet the Robinsons.

Not from any specific video game, pretty sure its just a cameo.

It uses the same model as the rex from Meet The Robinsons, but the skin is different. You can see the difference if you look closely enough. Robin-rex has a mottled back pattern while the one in that screengrab has something more akin to tigerstripes, like Sauron from Primal Rage.

Red Tiger Stripes, which look similar to the coloring of Robinson Rex, This Rex doesn't have Sauron's coloration or degree of stripes.

The stripes still look different than what the Robinsons one had. But I'm willing to compromise that it could be both the Robinsons T-Rex and Sauron at the same time. I wouldn't put it past them to try something like that.

I'm willing to bet the villain is gonna be the protagonist from an FPS because they'd likely be a violent psychopath

it'd be a complete and utter player punch straight to the nutsack

Yep, the game and the developer aren't real according to the ever-expansive KLOV site.
Still, great to see this kind of effort being done for the film!

You have to collect potatoes to power up the arcade machine.
Only then will the movie be released.

It doesn't matter as long as they don't do anything that bumps the rating up to R.

There was a pretty obvious Pulp Fiction (Rated R) reference in Space Jam (Rated PG). It's okay to have adult references as long as things don't happen that would scar the kiddos.

Ralph is walking happily in video game land when suddenly BAM, Goro's head falls from the sky and blood splatters all over

I'm pretty sure they won't do anything like that

Johnny Cage punches Ralph square in the ballsack and throws him off the bridge where he is impaled on jagged rocks.
Sonya flashes her tits (IN 3-DEEEEEEEE) and the movie ends.

'will npc in fps for food' reminds me of the citizens in the cafeteria in City 17 just before you go through that fence to meet barney.

You know what would be great

If we see Gordon freeman and some other Half-Life character waiting for a train (or whatever they use at that station) and it gets delayed and the other guy is like "Again?" (Because Gordon can't speak)
