I don't understand why I can buy austrailian airports for around 1000 coins when I start in Japan, but everything in korea and china is 50,000.

With a single plane I'd get around 200-300, depending on which plane I use. Most I've got with a single plane was about 700 I think. With 1 round of all my planes it'll usually haul me 1200-1500

Yeah I don't really find it addicting at all. Too much babysitting, not to mention it takes a shit ton of flights to level up after level 6. And my damn plane parts won't show up in the market.
