Syndicate was kind of fun.
I couldn't play Syndicate very long before my eyes started to hurt. There is just so much eye candy thrown at you.
Does EA still have the System Shock IP?
Never played it, but I'll assume by the fact it failed is due to being generic?
Do revive Dungeon Keeper.
By GOD! Do REVIVE, DUNGEON, KEEPER!
May I remind you that they are all going to have ALWAYS ONLINE DRM!
It's from EA. Expect DRM softwares!
Take a look at the upcoming Sim City 5. You know for sure they are going to put intrusive DRM softwares in their games. Every games
i don't know how i feel about this
i really don't want EA to molest classic IPs
It definitely isn't the original Syndicate, and the single player story had a terrible plot but I got to admit it's a fun FPS and the neat little details from their previous game Riddick like legs+torso, and the cover system was pretty cool. The real fun really is on the co-op (plus the countries/levels were a nice throwback to the original) but sadly lacked content and saw it quickly died.
Looking forward to the spiritual successor The Cartel being made by the original devs.
I played the new syndicate. I mean it's not an old syndicate at all, but it was pretty fun as far as an FPS goes.
But people who pay and have spotty connections are screwed.
And people like EA then go and say WHY ARE PEOPLE PIRATING OUR GAME.
Can't wait for the Theme Hospital fps
Maybe if they didn't turn Syndicate into yet another generic FPS, it would have turn out better.
See, EA - Syndicate did poorly while SSX did well because SSX was actually a good game.
Syndicate was genuinely awful.
Once you can see past the bloom and shit they blind you with, the gameplay was mediocre and the story was completely shitty.
I'd like them to bring back the strike series, those are fun games on the mega drive. Bring back the theme song as well
Mech games are in. Get it done.
Future Cop would be the most awesome thing ever. But I guess they would fuck that up easily, too.
When I was young I played the shit out of it because it was so awesome (even with a friend)
The game was a pretty fun mindless action fest albeit a short one but definitely not worth $60.
I had fun with Syndicate. It's not near as good as it could have been (not by a long shot) but it was a pretty fun little game.
Everyone always complains about EA's DRM but I'm seemingly never affected by it.
Quick, go find an old series and make it into a first person shooter. Those are always great, right guys?
This is Syndicate, the shit they recently splurged out was not, it just happened to have the same name.
