If people enjoy to watch a show about ponies, well just let them watch it.
I don't see what's so hard about this really.
Oh my God, who fucking cares.
If people like a show, let them like it, holy shit, some of you guys are acting like fucking children. I'm no fan of the show myself, but if a friend of mine were to like it, I wouldn't think any different of them because he/she would still be an awesome person.
If they're vocal about it, it'd be a bit annoying, but even then, it's not a life-changing thing.
so youre trying to say that because a website has fans of a show that you dont enjoy, your browsing experience has become awful?
Believe it or not, people actually do like to share the things they enjoy with other people. Now admittedly, bronies in general seem to have an unfortunate tendency to repeatedly share it with people who aren't interested, but is it really so bad that you feel physically ill at the sight of it? And I could sort of understand if you could literally not have a conversation with anyone without the topic of ponies coming up (which I'm fairly certain is not the case) but simple things like an avatar, or a t-shirt, or a keychain really shouldn't bother you so much.
I really don't understand why people are so disturbed by the notion that someone would even dare to like something that lies outside their social norm. It's not so true now, but I remember not too long ago people felt strangely about the fact that I, a grown man, played video games, insisting that "games are for children" and such. I don't get why it's so taboo for people to like the things that they like.
you seriously need help if small 80x80 icons ruin your experience
and if you want a debate thread start one up about bronies and how they ruin your life!
I AM NOT using the word "icon" to describe the small picture displayed under one's username. I am using it in the context of the definition I put up. The same way Adolf Hitler is considered an icon of Nazis, WWII, or the Holocaust. A main character from MLP is an icon to the show as a whole.
im p sure adolf wasnt projected on a surface all the time i think he was a real person
and thats like comparing apples to rape
One of my friends said he was going to have a "pony marathon" and asked if I wanted to come with. I told him I was going skiing with my almost girlfriend and he was like "ponies are better than girls"
To this day I still don't know if he was being serious or joking, and it's too late to ask him now :ohdear:
Andrew W.K. makes awesome shit so I could care less about what shows he happens to be watching, he's still cool.
Here are more examples so that you can understand better
Tony the Tiger is an icon of the cereal Frosted Flakes
Steve Jobs is an icon of his company Apple Computers
Henry Ford is an icon of Ford motors
President Barack Obama (and past presidents) are icons of the United States
Understand yet, or shall I list more?
Can you please get yourself banned or something you trite fucking douchebag? Woop dee doo, you think you are better than others, and have no empathy. You really need to stop acting like such a narrow minded prick.
It's kind of amusing how he did the music for this.
And further, the only place that you'd even be seeing a main character of the show that often on this site would be people's avatars, which makes the previous statements completely relevant.
Also, the above poster "TheFilmSLacker" contradicts your statement saying that peoples avatars are the only place to find characters from MLP. He demonstrates this by posting a video that is many times larger than an avatar and is even full motion, probably lasting a few minutes.
So I tell you the same thing you told me, you can't honestly expect me to believe that video posted was just a coincidence.
Actually, you know what guys, Malware is absolutely right.
It is a big deal because those filthy, sub-human bronies do nothing but taint the purity of this glorious forum, we must see to it that Facepunch is purged from this menace before we all have to suffer through looking at 80x80 pony avatars.
I also would like to admit that I'm absolutely awestruck by your incredible response and I am indeed fascinated by your incredibly thought-inducing and deep posts. Truly, I'm in the presence of a greater mind.

He's a troll. Move on.
Some people like ponies, some people don't. A lot of bronies are fucktards, a lot of anti-bronies are fucktards
That's just the way it is
Secondly, you have consistently failed to deliver any kind of intelligent response and instead you just keep disguising your stupidity in long, unecessarily verbose posts. The reason I keep replying to you is because I can't even begin to understand how something to insignificant makes you get your panties in such a twist.
But hey if you just want to disregard everything I just wrote feel free to write another paragraph about your superior intelligence, those always entertain.
