People dying in other countries does not effect me. I know that it a piece of shit thing to say, but it not like I am some asshole who just laughs at them. I do my part of community service (40 hours a year at my high school, and I often exceeded those expectations). I help the homeless at soup kitchens, and I even aided in the Haiti relief effort. But the FACT is that someone dying a thousand miles away has no effect on me, as a person, living my life. I feel terrible that those kinds of things have to exist, and the feeling is worsened when I realize that there is no concrete way to end it. Obnoxious people who interfere with my learning environment do effect me however.

My problem stems from the fact that I had to deal with these people on a day to day basis. And now it has polluted this website, making it impossible to scroll through an entire page without seeing an icon from the show.

If people like a show, let them like it, holy shit, some of you guys are acting like fucking children. I'm no fan of the show myself, but if a friend of mine were to like it, I wouldn't think any different of them because he/she would still be an awesome person.
If they're vocal about it, it'd be a bit annoying, but even then, it's not a life-changing thing.

Yes, it is so awful that I keep posting in the thread full of supporters of the show, just so they can talk shit about me. I am one who relishes debate and wish more people would communicate in the Mass Debate forum section. Unfortunately, updates are not very frequent in that section and I find this to be a much more rapid approach of getting responses out of people. Look at how well it has worked so far. Anyone who has any kind of opinion about me or anyone else should speak up now! You have at your disposal an army of people willing to give you feedback 24 hours a day. And many people choose not to respond, what a shame.

By that I assume you mean people's avatars? Are they really such a horrendous intrusion on your daily life that you simply can't go on?
Believe it or not, people actually do like to share the things they enjoy with other people. Now admittedly, bronies in general seem to have an unfortunate tendency to repeatedly share it with people who aren't interested, but is it really so bad that you feel physically ill at the sight of it? And I could sort of understand if you could literally not have a conversation with anyone without the topic of ponies coming up (which I'm fairly certain is not the case) but simple things like an avatar, or a t-shirt, or a keychain really shouldn't bother you so much.
I really don't understand why people are so disturbed by the notion that someone would even dare to like something that lies outside their social norm. It's not so true now, but I remember not too long ago people felt strangely about the fact that I, a grown man, played video games, insisting that "games are for children" and such. I don't get why it's so taboo for people to like the things that they like.

I AM NOT using the word "icon" to describe the small picture displayed under one's username. I am using it in the context of the definition I put up. The same way Adolf Hitler is considered an icon of Nazis, WWII, or the Holocaust. A main character from MLP is an icon to the show as a whole.

One of my friends said he was going to have a "pony marathon" and asked if I wanted to come with. I told him I was going skiing with my almost girlfriend and he was like "ponies are better than girls"

I wish I could explain my definition of an "icon" greater to you. But it appears that any such action would merely be a waste of time. I am going to do it any ways so people like you, who cannot read a definition and understand it, will stop wasting bandwidth. I even gave an example in real life of some one who is an icon.

And further, the only place that you'd even be seeing a main character of the show that often on this site would be people's avatars, which makes the previous statements completely relevant.

It was just a coincidence, it was the first thing that popped into my head. Maybe it is because Hitler was upset with a group of people, and I too am also upset with a group (of entirely different) people, so that is how the connection is made. And while I would never ever go to the extremes that Adolf Hitler did, I do find bronys annoying.
Also, the above poster "TheFilmSLacker" contradicts your statement saying that peoples avatars are the only place to find characters from MLP. He demonstrates this by posting a video that is many times larger than an avatar and is even full motion, probably lasting a few minutes.
So I tell you the same thing you told me, you can't honestly expect me to believe that video posted was just a coincidence.

I actually abandoned all of my previous arguments and merely used them to spark some sort of reaction in you people. I have been dedicating my latest posts to insulting the intelligence of the user that I reply to. While I do find bronys annoying, most of you are still hung up on my previous posts which provide me with more opportunities to insult many of you. Many of you also get to insult me. Dont you enjoy that the way I do? I am ecstatically waiting to click that refresh button to see what is up next. Debating like this is something that I rarely get to do in real life because frankly, the Internet is the only place where these debates exist and I would never be in the same (tangible) place with this many people that share these opinions. But I do enjoy responses, keep them coming.
