As much as its done today, I think it's slightly wrong. People have to understand that banners aren't just x words with a fancy background and effects, it's more about showing the essence of what you're advertising. I mean, you can put x with a fancy background and effects, nothing wrong if done correctly, its just better if you actually made the banner suitable to whatever you're advertising. Like say adding a logo to the banner, sure, but a black background with fancy text and a lens flare? Looks a tad useless and unimpressive.

If you want to get better at this kind of shit. Head over to the creationism corner section of the forum. There's a heft Photoshop user base over there who can tell you what you are doing wrong, roughly how much you suck (even if you never asked for it), and how to fix it if you aren't an ass. Because right now, you both need a bit of learning still in making stuff fit for purpose
