It looks... beautiful.
oh god yes
fuck it
I'll be here waiting patiently for X's delivery to me. Is that smoke found in the particle files?
no it's volumetric light and a rocket flying by.
Oh I see. Nice effect nonetheless
Removed the hat and added the nerd glasses by using locks. Is there anyway to fix that annoying thing on the glasses?
Testing how well custom dialogue ripped from a movie is lip-synced. Obviously not that well, but it's satisfactory.
That shit is creepy as hell. Can you pick up those stations from around the globe if you have a receiver, or only if you're in the local area?
Also, the length of the start signal and how many times it's repeated makes it seem extremely important that those messages reach their destinations.
I think it depends on how well your antenna can pick up signals. Most receivers in the United States usually pick up Cuban numbers stations. However, with some added stuff you may be able to pick up other stuff across the Atlantic (I'm not entirely sure though). iirc the Lincolnshire Poacher doesn't currently broadcast anymore, but there are several other interesting ones that you may be able to pick up.
It would be quite "interesting" to see this numbers station used in an SFM video.
Source Film Maker just crashed while I was recreating this in SFM.
I lost so much progress.
Fuck me.
What is the Lincolnshire Poacher? It sounds like a very interesting topic, can you expand on it?
Remember to Ctrl+S a lot.
That was incredibly awesome, but needs a little smoothing/rounding to make the scout seem less of a robot.
It's the sound at the very end, the tone. It's repeated around 10 times on the station, followed by a message which is repeated 4 or so times in some code language. No one knows what they are, but they come from military bases typically so people believe that they're used to communicate with spies.
Interesting.
A friend asked me to make this for him. It was good practice, now I can start making good stuff.
Using SFM to advertise Gmod ragdolls. I am a genius!....who can't yet smooth the trajectory of his cameras :P
Here is an expansion about the topic. It even comes with a small soundclip of one of the broadcasts.

Messing around, trying facial animations
They really need to fix the water textures.
I guess you could say I'm running out of ideas.
ma first render
Learned how to do particles, yay. Now I need a good compression codec.
Finished this around 15 mins ago, quite happy with it, actually.
What are your render settings, this looks gorgeous
I just couldn't wait any longer, so I got the torrent.
Man this is so fun to use, I just don't want to put it down. I can't wait to get the legit version.
Getting decent lipsyncing is pretty difficult for me though.
I remaded the intro of Metal Gear Solid 3 with SFM and Vegas.
I wish I could've made it better but welp
2spooky
that's fine, I didn't need to sleep tonight.
Effort? What's that?
Will be working on a longer video with actual effort put into it later.
enjoy
As someone with no experience with character animation I'm really impressed with how intuitive SFM is to use, my first attempt after the tutorial stuff:
What's your offer?
Here's my first test. This tool is great ;)
