Spent about 3 weeks working on a cover of Teardrop, vocals are a bit shoddy I know and I really need to see where I'm going wrong and work on fixing it so any criticism is more than welcome, cheers!

Well, it's interesting! I like your idea, it's definitely more upbeat than the original. There are a couple of problems though, in my opinion.
First of all, if you don't like your vocals, don't drown them in reverb. I mean they are REALLY drowning. Either redo them or post the instrumental and redo them later. Right now the reverb is so loud it drowns the instruments out too.
Also I'm not a fan of the drums. I think something more organic, less drum machiney would be awesome. Try sampling some old drum breaks and stuff for that authentic downtempo sound.
