    Right now I have:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
    Mobo: MSI 760GM-E51 (MS-7596)
    Memory: 4gb DDR3
Graphics: Radeon HD 6850 (MSI R6850 Cyclone PE/OC)
    PSU: 500w Cooler Master (RS-500-PCAR)

Now what I was wanting to do was upgrade everything except my processor, graphics card, and memory. I was also wanting to get the same card for crossfire.

For the part list, I have:
PSU: Diablotek UL Series PSUL775 775W
    Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB)(added to my existing 4gb)
Heat Sync: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1
    Mobo: ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Case: Antec Gaming Series One Black Steel ATX Mid Tower

How does it look? Any flaws to my plan? I was also curious as to if it would be too hard to transfer my existing cpu to the new motherboard. Thanks in advance!

Don't get a diablotek psu, it's a bomb. Also, don't waste your money, you are hardly upgrading. Spend your money on an ivy bridge build or something. What's your budget?

My budget isn't much, that's the thing. With this it would only be about $400, and that's about my budget. Doubt I could do much with that. If the difference isn't major I might just have to get the heat sync to lower my loud stock heat sync and stick with what I have.

You could get a new psu, another 6850, and the heatsink. But in some games, your cpu will probably bottleneck. Overclocking will help.

I had a phenom 925 and crossfire 5850 and it ran great for the majority of games, but cpu intensives games like skyrim ran like crap in certain spots. It ran alright after I overclocked. But you have a unlocked cpu, so if you can get the cpu to about ~4.3ghz I think you'd be fine.
