I have the following already

1x 460GTX gpu
2x hdds 2tB / 500GB
2 monitors
1 x Windows 7

I need a build which will cope with 3 clients of EVE running and the release of guild wars 2.
Budget around £400 /£450, £500 max. Heck I dont want to spend but this current quad core duo 2 is doing my nut in plus ive never experienced DDR3 ram....

Any thoughts would be nice.

i5 2500k, z68 motherboard that supports sli, however much RAM you feel is sufficient, perhaps xms3 sticks as I do recall them having a great value. As for the powersupply, I haven't even checked whats on the market recently and got nothing to suggest other then an xfx core, although somebody more literate should take care of that.

i5 2500 and a z68, I guess 8GB of DDR3 is suffice considering the most ill be doing is running games on it.

Well you're paying a little bit more for a motherboard that wont really make a difference, as it is of now at least.

If you don't care for modularity, then swap out the corsair one for an xfx core

I doubt that you'll need more then eight gigabytes even for several eve clients, so you could aswell drop down to a 4gBx2 dual channel RAM kit and just buy another set in the future, if you'll find that you need whole 16.
