In my experience you shouldn't become a cold person. When you lose your emotions it's really hard to get them back. In my opinion start a nice hobby and meet some new friends that wont take advantage of you.

You could stop going to weenie hut juniors. But really, give it time, venture outwards and do some things you wouldn't do. Doing something really shaming in private is an unorthodox but working method of hardening up, because if you don't, people might find out.
