Cool! Kv-2 was in sale so I bought it.
First match with it in ages:
In the end of the match my team's IS said "Good work 25 second reload KV-2"
Forgot how fun this tank is, even though the reload speed is 25 secs.

The E-75 really doesn't need a buff.
Now for the E-90, this thing is even worse than the T28P.
It's pure anime bullshit, it's not even close to a napkin tank. It's also very, very ugly and makes no sense at all from a design standpoint.
It's even worse than Hitler.

Artillery always had the issue of not being able to aim past the red line limiting the battle arena, allowing fairly arty invulnerable positions on some maps (Mines).
Now, in 0.8.0, WG "improved" that old issue by allowing tanks to drive a little bit past the red line, but still preventing arty from aiming there:
(that guy had the right idea - he stayed behind the line all match - but should have turned his frontal armour towards the enemy)
Eagerly awaiting company battles or maybe clan wars where one team goes arty heavy and the other team simply retreats behind the red line. Also a very good position to place your own arty to prevent being countered.

KT for sure. Way better frontal armor and a way better gun. The 4502's speed and low penetration make it play more like a Russian one.

As someone who did both, recently, and loved them both: It's all about play style.
If you enjoy being a slow, well-discipline force with reliable armor: Tiger II
If you enjoy getting in the thick of it, flanking and acting like a heavy-medium: VK4502 Ausf. A
Whereas the Tiger II is about 205-230mm effective with the upper glacis, the VK4502A is only about 180mm. That's a big difference. The Tiger II can bounce (at range) the BL-9 122mm and the long 105mm. The VK4502A will only bounce things like the 100DT and earlier 175mm pen 122mms. However, despite having pathetic side armor, the VK4502A shares turrets and is much faster. In fact, it's the fastest VIII heavy, with only slightly slower initial accleration over the IS-3. Combined with a good traverse speed, it's not a push-over in the right hands.

I never had any problems with the grind up to the SU-152, no memorable issues atleast.
It was the SU-152 that really slowed down the grind but once I got the last canon up and running it became very enjoyable.

No, it's like the B1 to BDR G1B. The B1 is kinda just okay for the entire way through, but the BDR G1B is just sheer unfiltered pain until you get it kitted out and then it's sheer unfiltered pain for someone other than yourself. SU-100 with the 122 is pretty good, and the chassis itself is far more durable. But it's a really crappy version of the SU-85 until you get that, and the gun happens to cost 15k XP IIRC after 15k on the gun prior to it.
Quite a hefty grind.

Su-100 even with the 100mm is loads of fun, haven't unlocked the 122mm yet because 8.0 and the 100mm is good enough, 100% crew, vents and rammer and my reload speed is 5.99 or something, almost as fast as my T-62A's gun.

I'm in a love hate relationship with the VK4502 Ausf B.
In one match, it out performs the E-75, wrecks everything, reverse-angles like a beast and I come out with 7-9 kills and 2k+ XP undoubled.
And then the next match, a missed artillery shot will literally break as many components at once as the game allows. And a frontal shot from a Tiger (H) will pen the driver's slit, causing the engine to burst into flames; because apparently the driver IS the engine.
