WoT doesn't want you to have fun. Me and w0w00t were trying to do tier 6 platooning and all we were getting were tier 8 matches. Consistently and repeatedly. Then we just said fuck it, and I went off to play a few rounds on my own and I got something like 4 rounds in a row where I was top tier (with 3-5 tier 6s per team) and in the next 6 rounds I played after that I didn't see a single tier 8.

Platoon matchmaking is more or less broken.
MM2.0 is far from the glorious thing wargaming made it out to be, they fixed tiers 2 - 7 but pretty much fucked platoon matchmaking and tiers 8 - 10

the worst part is all the damn assault battles
    Yeah, getting so fucking annoyed.

Would be more acceptable if half the locations you needed to assault were actually tactically viable.

Just capturing a random field when the map has villages and towns seems fucking retarded.

Plus I haven't played properly in like 8 months.
The question is though, was that all done on one tank?

I'll never forget the day a fellow tier 4 pushed a Grille Bison over a railroad track and to the top of a hill, where it just let it roll. It wasn't shot at for a good 10 seconds as it just kinda drove forward into a horde of angry bees. I'd be pretty confused if I'd not played much of the game and I saw this driving at me

Flanked south on arctic and killed 4 of the 6 tanks in the canyon. Headed to their base with the rest of the team and killed an M36 and SU-85. Almost had a KV-2 as well, but I rolled 4 HP under average damage, so someone else took his last 2 HP.

Is there a chart or something that shows where the modules are most commonly placed within tanks in this game?

You can use logic, otherwise you'd have to A. Use a weakspots skinpack or B. Pay $3 to access the 3dmodels WoT site thing. But aside from that you can use real diagrams to check or again: basic logic. For instance, you can aim for engines fairly easily, and roughly at ammo racks (in front of the turret basket/in the turret basket/sometimes in the back of the turret).

Hello there plans to introduce a light tank the U.S. Walker Bulldog?
    Yes.

Its the most likely candidate for the American tier 6 light tank. It should really not be a surprise it is being added.

While not in the reply, the M41 will probably get the 90mm given its position tier wise and this.

Oh yes, and the jadgmaus will probably be 2013.

If they put it in it better have like a fucking extra long 150 with 500 pen and 750 damage at 7rpm and then be completely inpenetrable frontally because it's going to get completely fucked by anything even remotely mobile with the agility that the Maus has

It still doesn't look long enough.

The Maus' engine was insanely huge and it took humongous amounts of fuel to give it a range greater than 500 meters. Just think about it, the King Tiger did 162 meters for every litre of gasoline in it, that's for a 23 litre V12 menwhile the Maus had a 44 litre V12.

Dr. Porsche was fucking insane, as much as Christie even though their designs were diametrically opposed

Fuel consumption is always a problem with gasoline engines, the only reason Germany used them early in the war was their much higher power over diesel engines but later on it was because you could synthetize gas out of almost anything.

Gasoline engines should have been phased out mid war but most nations just didn't want to add more complexity to their supply lines so you ended up with Zippo Shermans (all the diesel ones went to the Brits). Even the Ruskies managed to design an easily mass produced diesel engine that was moderately reliable and could push out 500-600 HP, yet the Americans only managed to design a 36 cylinder gas monster they stuck in the poor little Sherman (oh chrysler you so silly with your multibank engine...).

    Edited:

Oh and it wasn't just a German thing, the early M48 had insane range problems, just a little over 100 kilometers with a full ~700 litres tank. I'm fairly sure it's even worse than the KT.

Germans and Americans have obscene problems with longevity with everything on the tanks they made.

Tube life being another thing, the gun on the M103 had a life of 250 rounds before it needed to be replaced because it was deemed too hazardous to fire. The German KPZ-70 (the MBT-70 with an conventional 120mm) had pretty much the same issue, the Abrams still has problems TODAY with tube life.

I think we should just give up and license Challenger 2 and fund the mythical Challenger 3 development.
