Yay ego likes the game now.

I could never beat banjo kazooie as a kid.
Got pretty far, but that game was pretty confusing at times.
Then again I was like... 6 or 7.
Probably wasn't very good at games period back then.

I played Tooie first (it was actually my first console game, like the year it came out), and I loved it, so going back to Kazooie a year later was confusing.
"What is this bullshit where all the notes and Jinjos reappear after leaving the world?"
"Where are all the bosses?"
"Why can't I actually attack as a transformed Banjo?"
"Why are the worlds so small?"
"Why does Mumbo look terrifying?"
Going back to it this year made me realize it is a great game. I just vastly prefer Tooie.

Yes, I enjoyed the new Banjo Kazooie video.
Ego is starting to appreciate the game more without Jon shoving it down his throat.
A little friendly collaborating, some jokes, I'm happy.

I'm having the same reaction as Jon in this, and it's something I get in many Let's Plays, and particularly in Game Grumps, where you see the solution to a puzzle or something that they should be doing, and then they stumble around it for ten minutes. It's immensely frustrating to watch, particularly when they're so damn close and keep missing it.

That last kirby episode was the funniest one so far, at least for me.

I raged a little when they couldnt figure out the boss in the newest kirby.
Especially when it flat out tells you the weakness in the dialogue right before it.
