The rest of the interior is shitty, but goddamn the dashboard display is awesome.
Oi thats my car
Yes, these rock! I dont know how to describe it, one part is simplistic (not too many stuff on it/around it), one part is no big (IMO ugly) light shields (like on Golf), nice numbers and pointers, round (not cut, like on some cars, like Hyundai i30 or square or something similar), I also like the chrome around them and on pointers. Very nice design. Symmetric. Nice choice of colors (although I like red LCD more).
Edit: Oh yes, and the (plastic) housing around also plays an important role, this one is close to perfect.

This subforums really running out of ideas huh
I don't have any chrome trimming on my car seeing as I have the base model :<
Chrome is just a bonus. Golf IV doesnt have chrome trimming either but I still like its instrument cluster:
Edited:
Wow, nice, I like :D
Why not, its as good a topic as any :D I dont know about you but even if I liked the car outside a lot I wouldn't consider buying it if it had unsatisfying instrument cluster. After all, its a part of the car Ill be looking at most of the time.
Ehhh, I'd judge a car on a bit more than that. I find myself looking at the road and the radio more than the cluster actually![]()
Ofcourse, I am talking strictly about design/aesthetic part of a car.
I'm sorry but I love digital dash/clusters...
why the fuck is this 2012 and almost all cars don't have those. they are sexy as fuck
so edgy~
i like gauges though
they're just better
sorry :)
Just couldn't take a joke~
without posts like that this would just be another generic AA forum, without humor and shit like that it'd be like going to a generic car forum
>implying
oh shit I'm all wrong
generic~
i really like the ridiculous digital dashes from 80's
I love combos, digital LCD in the middle that can show speed and beautiful analog speedo and tachometer on each side. Like on some Audi's.
I dont know, but its a good question.
my jeep is like that
but has a lot of choices.
fuel ecomony screen
speed screen
trip which is 2 trips and a timer
then tire pressure show car and all four times pressures
engine coolant temp
oil temp
tranny temp
oil pressure
engine hours
then theres a custom preferences menu alot more stuff the car can do.

never buy a jeep again
wrong fucking thread bro
I hate clusters that the speedometer goes up by 20s. I drove my dads 1995 chevy 1500 for a while and I loved it so much, big V8, manual, and the gauge cluster.
I love everything about it.
I too love the simplicity sometimes and its better if speedo goes up by 10, sadly thats rare when measuring unit is kph as they are smaller than miles and theres little room for increments by 10. But for me it has to be two equally sized meters: tachometer and speedometer, one on left, second on right side (or vice versa). Like this Renault Megane I cluster: simple and nice looking (for my taste)
