Ok so about a week ago I noticed that my VGA cable was acting up, whenever I touched it, the signal would cut completely, even though it was tightened, now, at random times I get "No Signal Detected" on my monitor, I can hear sound for a bit then it cuts out, I don't think my card is overheating, on Speccy it's usually around 50 degrees C and the fans sound fine. When I start up after the OS loads I get a bunch of black bars that fade quickly, is this a serious problem, or can I fix it easily? Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad cable, try with another one. Also your monitor and graphics card both support DVI cables, there's no point in using an analog VGA cable unless it's the only option.

Ok this is happening again now. I tried a new cable and it's happening a lot more when I start up too... help please

Bad PSU? Or maybe the power cable going to the GPU?

When you move the cable it cuts out but the cable is tight? Sounds like your GPU is loose in its slot
