I have been attempting to register a .US domain. Have gone against it, but I plan on registering one in the future. Besides the requirement of being an entity or citizen in the US, do you have to prove that? What exactly does the Nexus Category and Nexus Country mean and how can you find this out?

You must be a US citizen, a permanent United States resident, or a US entity such as organizations and corporations. Additionally, any business or corporation with a bona fide presence in the USA may register.
I have gotten the information from this site. Though I don't know much about domains and such, so i'm not 100% sure this information is true. Also, I'm not sure how you would go about proving you're a citizen of the US.
