I have an Hp Pavilion dv6 model number dv6-1247cl with an Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family video chip. I'm having issues running fallout 3 and Gary's mod on it not sure about other game though, They just pop up Not Responding during the loading screens. But when I go to Can I Run It? it say my videocard fails when it also shows it more than meets all requirements. Help please?

CYRI isn't anything to go by usually.

You have a dv6, good luck.

Also during loading, some games usually pop up with not responding anyways, wait a minute and see what it does.

Agreed with waiting a few minutes, although the dv6 family means next to nothing as it's basically HP's entire standard consumer 15" series. I have a dv6 with an i5-2540m 2.6-3.1ghz, HD6770m, etc and it's amazing for gaming. Nothing ever breaches 70c either.

Yeah, I know that there are good dv6-s.

But the one he has isn't good for gaming. I am impressed if the gma4500 could run TF2 properly. As there are many stories and videos of it being p. bad.

GMod tho, on flatgrass you might even get it playable.

It makes me have to close the program after waiting. Also does it running UDK editor just fine mean anything.

It's a DV. Just get rid of it and replace it with ANYTHING else.

UDK Editor is more CPU heavy, that's why it runs better.

Eh, look around google for tips.

For GMod, you can try -dxlevel 81
I don't know if they already disabled it or not.

I told him to run TF2 with -dxlevel 8. (He's my roomate) I don't think he tried that launch option on gmod yet. I don't know if it's possible for him to run Fallout 3 though...
