SL4A if you know any scripting languages
One way to check is go to the bootloader (turn phone completely off (turn off fastboot in Android settings), press volume down and then press power until white screen shows) and check the phone codename on the top left. Ville is fine, VilleC2 is no-go. Another way is checking the box. Z520E model is okay, Z560E is no-go.
What are good Applications to use on my Nexus 7?
if you guys like it/find bugs/hate it, pm me or write a review. much appreciated :)
You look like you're partying non-stop since since 2009
FINALLY! CM merged the stopwatch and timer additions into the stock Clock app!
Wheee! Rooted my Wildfire S, should I get CM7 or 9?
I'll try 9 first, and maybe give 7 a go if I have any problems. I also have my original ROM backed up just in case...
Well, babby's first custom ROM install didn't go to plan; CM9 wouldn't go past the loop of the boot animation. I'm so glad I kept a backup of my original HTC software... and that it actually worked!
Sooo what now? I did the 'install zip from sdcard' option from CWM recovery and my phone is still S-ON, I'm not sure if that's what you're supposed to do. If someone could correct me on that I'd really appreciate it.
Stumbled upon a cool app on reddit earlier, though I cant seem to find the post anymore:
Its an app that hooks into all your emulators and keeps the ROMs organized by console, gets the boxart and description for them.
Looks nice too:
Oops, didn't see his post, whatever, its a good app, it deserves to be seen.
Left a 5 star review
So apparently I need to S-OFF my phone before I can install CM9, and the only way to do that is to pay for some expensive bullshit.
The lock button on my Infuse started acting up and started rebooting my phone at random, at which point it would get stuck in an infinite boot loop because the button was somehow stuck down.
What a pain in the ass. I had to open the phone up and clean the button on the case and the actual button on the board to get it working again.
It works, but I'm very suspicious of it, so I went and ordered a Galaxy Nexus.
I didn't want to spend $600 or so on an S3, mostly because I would never use any of that power, considering how I use my Infuse, but the Galaxy Nexus should be a nice upgrade nonetheless.
And having the latest updates will kick ass, since my Infuse only got GB in February, officially. Sad.
So I was thinking of buying a decent tablet for general use, emulators, games, that sorta stuff
I was looking at the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, anyone know if they're a good tablet?
I was going to say, I don't really like the nexus much
It seems small and the lack of expandable memory is a turnoff
