yes how dare we not blindly hate someone instead of trying to understand his situation and actions.
After reading Mein Kampf, after reading about the plans Hitler had for Eastern Europe (ie extermination/enslavement of the Slavic peoples to be replaced by ethnic Germans), after reading atrocities committed that he didn't give a damn happened (by the military, not by the SS; the myth of the German Army fighting a "clean" war while the SS did most of the war crimes is utterly false) yeah, I understand his actions perfectly. It was the actions of a cruel tyrant who was willing to use genocide and destruction on a hitherto unseen scale to fulfill his warped visions of a Europe dominated and exploited by Germany.

I understand you when you say that you feel sympathy for anyone who goes through shit like this. Believe me, i do too.. But christ, there has to be a line in the sand at some point.

You and everyone else has to step back and look at this thing as a whole.
This is a thread made about how hitler went through a mental breakdown, and there is at least a hundred guys who rated him with a heart. There has to be a point where sympathy is nullified by the actions of someone
He did everything he did based on his experiences.

You do everything you do based on your experiences.

I do everything I do based on my experiences.

Yes he is human. Well done. You've correctly established what species he belongs to.

But that doesn't stop what you've just said being meaningless stupidity.

You misinterpret what I meant by that.

Regardless, I changed my mind about what I wrote the other day.

Whilst I still wish for a utopian society, free of violence and oppression, I now no longer believe a dictatorship would be the best option for managing it.

    My beliefs are fluid.

Also I'm surprised you raised a point about intellectual integrity.

From a solely intellectual basis, disregarding moral and emotional influences - Why would a single party of humans with a single, fixed belief and one track focus not be seen as optimal for the human race to move forward.

Because there is not a single, fixed optimal track for humanity to focus on to ~move forward~

And anyone who said they have discovered such ~path to enlightening ~ is a delusional moron, much like yourself.

You have no credible intellect and it's funny that you think otherwise.

Exactly, there is no single fixed optimal track for humanity to focus on. That's why I never mentioned such a utopia being intellectual at all.

I never said there was such a path, nor did I claim you needed to believe what I wrote.. You just decided to ridicule me innocuously in defense of ~ something ~ (which you still haven't made clear).

Finally, I never 'thought' that I had any credible intellect. I wrote some words and you reacted strongly, because you assigned meaning to what I had written.

    I..just. What?
    Are you kidding me?
This isnt an amanda todd situation, you twat. Iv given my reason for hating him, and instead of regarding my reasons for hating a genocidal murderer and scar upon german history, you and a good number of others feel it important that facepunch as a whole sympathises with a racist, pro-eugenics, mass murdering, powerthirsty, psychologically imbalanced scumbag for the only reason that he was "human" and had a bit of a cry at the end of his bloodthirsty facist reign. Fuckin what??

Every serial killer and rapist was a human as well, dumbass. Does that mean we exempt them from their crimes because of that singular meaninless point? Or do you feel its important to come to the defense of sicko for the only reason being that he was a sicko

So much condensed stupid in this thread, it hurts
You guys are trying so hard to defend him. Its shameful

Unless someone does something, this is just going to get worse and worse, until everyone is basically living under Sharia Law and getting beheaded for being white.
I'm not particularly surprised you're defending Hitler.

Are you truly incapable of keeping your pseudo-intellectual horseshit to yourself like every other sane, rational human being? Jesus fucking christ.

    Edited:

Literally every post i've seen by you includes some sort of piss-enthused waffling about some totally baseless fact you hold deep at heart, and now you're defending the cruel and vile actions of Adolf Hitler, one of the most prolific fascist dictators of the 20th century.

I don't see why this is particularly sad.

He's blaming his entire nation, who faithfully followed him (some even to the bitter end), for not fighting heroically and for being the reason why they lost, and that they deserve to die because of it. Even at the bitter end he couldn't admit his wrongdoing.

That's pretty fucked up. I have little sympathy for him, even if he was going mad.

From what iv read from his posting, he sounds like a flip flopper who is thoroughly convinced of his own intellectual superiority

Also, an a believer in an aryan race, considering his second to last post.

I've always wondered what if Hitler hadn't decide to kill off the jews.

Chances are the war will last even longer.

And wasn't his WW1 officer jewish, and recommended the Iron cross??

This is off topic but this post reminded me of a guy I went to school with who was going to write an alternative history paper on if "Germany would have invaded the middle east during WW2 to secure all the oil"

    You are, a fucking idiot.
Added to ignore list, you have absolutely nothing on value to contribute to the human race and you have insanely warped ideas about reality and morality

    Edited:

god help us if idiots like you ever occupy a meaningful position in the world

Also in over six years of browsing fp (alt obviously) you are the only person I've ever ignored. This is a testament to your stupidity

Every single human being that ever was had person likes, insecurities and fears. Hitler was no different from any man, he had problems. He was no idiot, he was never insane, after seeing all of his work trying to make the world a better place (Though his ideals on doing such a thing were not any good) and spending years on just making Germany a better place in his eyes all go to ruin and seeing everyone he ever respected no longer trust him, consider him an idiot, and betray him would destroy him as it would do the same to me.

I may not agree with the things he has ordered, but I will respect him as any other person and as an interesting one. He was cunning, he was a con artist of sorts. Twisting reality through speeches with such power and emotion he was able to convince many many people what he was doing was in fact good because he felt betrayed and felt like he had to do something about his life, even if none of it was what he saw.

tl;dr two paragraphs of contradicting bullshit because i'm confused
