Well you might say who the hell is [GMODIN]? Well We are a rapidly growing community with not one but multiple owners.We also have a new script, Called Hellfire thanks to Huntskiksbut. <3. Our script has features like:

-Usable Drugs- Beer,weed, taquila and heroin are what we offer but be careful you do not want to be
caught by cops all doped up, or with having drugs on you.

-Blackmarket- Be careful to not let cops see you with a gun there arrest you and charge you with carrying a illegal weapon.
The guns they offer are deagles. ak-47s, mac10s, pump shotguns, fivesevens and glocks.

-Cops- Voted cop system. Weapons include the tranquilizer gun, Tear gas, Arrest gun, battering ram, you can also buy guns from the blackmarket.

-Mayor system- Can set taxes, place a warrent on a player and a cop arrest the player to earn $50.

-Citezins- Citezins make up the majority and have jobs legal or illegal. They whole purpose is to keep the roleplaying going.

-Day/Night- Just like a normal world location we have day and night too, But be aware
many criminal activities occur during nighttime hours. Also All stores close during nighttime, Blackmarket,food store,Drug dealer.

-Energy- As humans we have to eat and sleep or else we die, there is no exception on Hellfires RP we also include this burden!
But be carefull, you do not want to starve to death.

-Money- We all need it we all want it :O.

-BuyRights- Well this works just like a patent you Buy it and nobody else can spawn it, Also once you buy the right
to an object it does not cost money to spawn that object anymore.

-Messaging- See below at help for diffrent chat options.

I keep timing out at the LUA screen. It pauses for a minute after it downloads all the files, then the colored area darkens and I get the "WARNING: CONNECTION ERROR".

This happens to me also. I learned that after all the files are downloaded and that shows up, click cancel and connect to the server again! Works every time! :D

Hurr. Only works half the time. I have to time it perfectly and exit the instant the CONNECTION ERROR message appears. If I don't and I rejoin, I get the 'reliable stream overflow' error spam in the console. :(

I would suggest adding something where people cannot rush arrest with the stunstick. It's really annoying when mingecops do that.
Like adding stamina and making cops with the stunstick equipped walk slower.

Just to let you guys with this roleplay script on a lot of people can't use F1-F4 to buy doors and things like that so it would be nice if you could make a command like !buydoor and !selldoor to make the script more enjoyable for people with this problem like me :(

No because it is a private RP script, this has been said so many times just check the first page.

We have just implemented a cross-server banning script.

You can view all users, banned or not, on this site. If there is a red flashing light under the 'Ban Status' section, then that user is banned from all GMODIN servers.





On another note, we have also fixed most timeouts on the RP servers so our users can enjoy more freely.

After your last roleplay script update i can't join anymore. I get "cutllinkedlist overflow" error.

I will try to cut down on how much it sends you at the entry of the !start command, but it is already pretty optimized. It works for 95% of the people who attempt it join.

I don't expect this to be released to public but man it should be. I'm tired of the damn Simple RP script on my server (too many bugs with it). Do what you want but this script rocks and I haven't even played on the server.

Is there a chance, that i could join you Group? I would say that i'm pretty experienced hosting servers (Listen and dedicated).

I love roleplaying.

And if yes, do it then have to be permanent? (I can make it permanent if that's a request).

You would have to consult with all the members and hunt included to see If we could work something out.

Hey guys, i got a few things to post and I hope you can all help me out.
First off, great script, I play in the GMODIN servers a lot, but I'm having a problem...

That. I've got that problem, could you please give me better instructions on using F4, like, do I need my keys out when buying, should or shouldn't I bind F4 etc. Oh, and does it make any difference that i use a custom configuration? I don't use F4 but I customise a lot of keys.


I've found a few bugs with the script too, but you probably already know these ones.

1. Sleeping and changing your rank to "Cop" at the same time will trick the game into thinking your constantly sleeping even though you can move and stuff.

2. You can drop negative money.

Other than that it's a great script, and I hope what I've said helps it come along a little and I hope you guys can help me out.

EDIT: I figured out the F4 problem, F4 must be bound to "gm_showspare2" minus quotes for some people, I don't know why I know some people that didn't need to do this, but I'm betting it's because i use a customised configuration.

Server is getting better , but still bad :P.

The mod is realy great, but the servers still lag like hell.

May I ask what kind of hardware the servers are running on, because I can probably get you another high-powered server if needed.

these servers are hosted off a server company with decent hardware and it runs at 66 tick i have never seen it lag.

To the GMODIN people, you should make a website with rules and you have to read the rules and agree to get the password to the server which would change every other day.

Hey, I've got a question for whoever the head GMODIN guy is, I'm admin on GMODIN #9 and have been even before it was GMODIN, so how (if possible) do I go about becoming admin on other GMODIN servers?

I have another suggestion.
When you run rp_bigcity_life add something that disables the spawn buttons in the automobile store.
People can just walk in, spawn as many as they want then lagging and crashing the server.

If you have prop protector you could put something over the button and make it invisable, like if it's a wall, you could put a dumpster lid over it. I haven't seen that map so I could really tell you which prop to use.

We are trying to shy away from that pretty much. The server has a password sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. If you want it that badly, go to the forums. We just want people on our servers. We're not going to make them jump through hoops to get there!

You have to be here for a LONG time. Trust me. I've been here since the beginning (Gmod 9 months ago) and I got where I am now. And asking for it doesn't make your case any better. Please, post this in the GMODIN forums where this discussion belongs! :D

Hurrah, it's hard to say anything about this script because I was like 15-20 minutes on one of the two servers, and there was some minge killing everyone with a turret, you didn't even disable harmful shit on toolgun like ignite, remover and turret

A quick question to the creators and or owners of the hellfire script, it rocks but i was just wondering why it will never be released to the public? I would love to be able to play this with some friends on a server we had control of.
If enough people asked for it, would you consider releasing?

It's not the site speed, its the site script downloading all the ZH rankings from an external server ( I don't want to have to go through the trouble of transferring it to the new server ), sorting them by kills, then displaying them. It's only slow when you enter the site ( or refresh ).

You didn't add 'Clicking on any hyperlink at all' to that statement. Other than that, I agree.

Hellfire seems like an amazing RP tool but whenever i connect, after typing "!start" my game either crashes giving me the "cutllinkedlist overflow" error, or i enter the game and remain in the starting possition unable to move. I am would really like to try this out and if you have any ideas on how to fix this error i would really appreciate it.

Note: the only server which dose'nt crash, and i remain standing in the starting area, is # 7 on rp_bigcity_life
