What is AI.Planet?

AI.Planet is a virtual world for artificial intelligence. The environment has water, land, suns, moons, and atmosphere. Plants, animals, fish, and insects can be added to create a dynamic ecosystem. Clouds, rain, wind, lightning, rivers, and icebergs naturally arise from the sun and other influences. You can explore your planet from outer space, by walking around, by tracking creatures, or by controlling a robot that interacts with objects.
Artificial Planet is an OpenSource project built with GLScene.

Features

Collision Response
Shadows
Beacons
Loads of Creatures
Loads of plants
Underwater
Flocking
Death

Object Oriented
Beach Balls :D

Whole list of features:

I think it is a great game with plenty to do, but I can't see its full ability since my computer is shit and it lags :(.

Detailed picture with iceburgs, evolving plants, fruit, clouds with rain
and some birds

Multicast Shadows

Fruit Foraging

I think I read somewhere on the site that their making a sequel

I found it!

"A sequel is in the works, one that is bolder and simpler. It promises to be a radical improvement on the first version, with the focus on the development of a special new artificial consciousness design. A new engine has been built for it. While AI.Planet has become popular for end users, it is quite a feat to maintain and change. Therefore the next evolution will be leaner and meaner, with some cool features you might not expect. Stay tuned! :)"

Cool, it doesn't work. And quit complaining about the graphics. It's a freeware game. Besides, I'm not sure you want to render an entire planet full of AI with extremely good graphics.

One of the fun things in that game is forcing a collision between two things orbiting the planet, causing a meteor shower and an aftermath of thunderstorms and rocks melting to become land.

This worked for me. At least it got to the "press any key" and then started the program, which caused my PC to go so slow that I had to resart it. But it worked.

I got it working, and I'm playing it. Runs nice and smooth (I downloaded the patch off of the website.)

Apparently my fish are so starved for food that they've adapted and have started fighting for the felled apples from the apple trees nearby the shore

It has yet to crash for me, and started up on my first try, I guess i'm lucky.
I released like, 50 crabs on my planet, they killed everything, trees, seeds, fruits, other animals.
Ducks, Foxes, and mice went extinct because of those bastards.

Well, I made a star, then threw it around.
It then orbited the planet in what seemed like a broken figure 8, at times it would get incredibly close to the planet.

I did it again with the moon and the sun, They both do it now. What the hell.

Did you right click on shortcut, go to properties, go to compatability and set it to Windows 95? That should work.

As is my custom, I edit nearly every model I can get my grubby hands on. I decided I'd have a go at the orange trees. Once the oranges fell from palms, now they fall from..

My usual thing is importing shit, which I would do if I could create my own npcs/other shits for this. For now, editing suits me fine. I was going to do the apple tree first, but it's mysteries are not yet open to me...

:w-hat: model should I edit next?

EDIT
Each ant, overall has

4508 polies
and he made everything else such low poly :o

I was going to, but sadly it uses a shared model. If I edited the rabbit, it'd change the grazer, mouse and the tiger also (i think, considering that those models are identacle except for color, but i know there is no specific "rabbit" model)
