Must be atleast 1.2 what with all the errors :D

Description:
replaces the zombie npc with either zombieman or zombiecop

Requirements:
Gmod9, Gmod10 (put it into addon format)

Download:

So after much nagging from a fair few people i have decided to release a pack of models that will replace your existing zombie within half-life 2.

The first one is a citizen zombie which looks rather gruesome.


and the second is a metrocop zombie complete with metrofied zombie sounds, also fairly gruesome.


NOTE: You must download either/or as they will not both work at the same time .

Special thanks to Ulfen for the Zombieman skin and Mosquito for the Metrocop's. ;)

*UPDATE: Fixed the almighty pink eye. Woop! :)

Note: NOTE - FOR PEOPLE USING THIS IN ADDON FORMAT!
Garry is removing overide from addons, so this mod will not work, when it stops working you will have to take the folders out of the addon folder and put it in the garrysmod folder.

If you want this to work with gmod 10, I suggest that you make it into a playermodel as well. This is because gmod 10 tends to do CRC checks between the playermodels and the original model, meaning that by replacing the zombies with these, you won't see anyone using the zombie playermodel. This may be solvable by turning sv_consistency off, but I'm not sure about this.

I have an idea... couldn't you edit the npc script to have all 3 models (normal, citizen, and metro)?

There was some controversy over whether or not it would work with Garry's Mod 10. I downloaded and tested on Garry's Mod 10; it works like a charm.

Yes i did use the Zombine sounds, do what you will with them. I just thought it would add a nice touch to the model. :(

I'm pretty sure it is, the jacket rips look alot like the REmake's standard jacket, but then again it could be some standard look for awesome zombies

Well i'm pretty sure the NPC replacement doesn't work with gmod10 but you can use it in gmod9 or hl2 singleplayer . But if you want to ragdoll pose it it works in gmod10 for that.

Well there's one death where the crab doesn't come off its head. Also i notcied that after model manipulating the zombies, That when they do this death the body does not return back to a normal zombie's body. It stays as whatever you made it and no crabs. So if we could someone how make this the only death then this would be great. The only problem is i haven't yet figured out how to do this... I don't even really know where to start...

Well... The .VMT To make the crabs invisble should still work in Gmod10. But the script to kill them... Hell... I wouldn't even know where to start with that. I only have 9

Unfortunatly not as the zombie model is coded to not have eyes so it cancels the citizens out.

I use the citizen zombie and it looks very good. I can't figure out why the zombie has super health though. It takes forever to kill one and it never did that before. I installed this and the zombie replacement pack and it looked weird so I removed both. I then put this zombie back in and it takes forever to kill. I don't know why this is happening, but maybe if I change it and put it back it will work. I'm going to try it. Where can I go, to put their health to normal? I don't know of the health thing has anything to do with this pack at all.
