I went to the airshow at Mt.Comfort Airport today.

Saw a ton of WWII warbirds.

A B-17!

A B-24!

A P-51!

A P-47!

After a while they got all of the WWII planes fired up
there are alot more, just didn't upload all the pics I had.
Anyways, when they were all in the air, the had a mock air raid on the airfield, and explosives rigged up all around so they would go off looking like the are dropping bombs, and firing rockets. They also had Blanks in a few of the fighters.

A B-17 getting ready to Taxi to the runway.

the Ju-52 in flight.

Assorted WWII planes in formation

B-24 doing a fake LOW level bombing run (perfect timing eh?)

what happened 10 seconds after that last pic

More to come!

A little while later they had a segment with Helicopters.

This one chopper was the only one like it, It can do Barrel Rolls etc.
And then the Sky Soldiers came out to play with their Cobras."

The Red Bull Chopper doing sweet stuff...Its inverted...just so ya know

you can tell a little better that it is inverted in this one.

The Sky Soldiers!

Close up on the Cobra

Close up on them with their smoke on

NEXT!

A Biplane AND!

THE BLUE ANGELS!

A sky diver with the American flag dragging behind him jumped before the Blue Angels came.

While he was coming down he, was being circled by two Biplanes with smoke

Then this guy, he went under that wire, twice, once upside down. Then cut it the third time with his prop, which is what is happening on this pic.

The Blue Angels C-130

The Blue Angels come screaming across out of no where.

A better picture of the formation group

A pic of the Solo Blue Angels just before they miss each other.

An echelon right Formation doing a knife edge pass

Doing some crazy stuff

Perfect timing again eh? They are flying so close to each other...but they are really side by side.

Can't tell, but in this pic, they are going about 40 Mph (ground speed)

That's all that happened, besides me getting burned to a crisp by the sun.

God damn it, I knew that the airshow was at Mt. Comfort, I just didn't know where the fuck in ass it was.
I would have gone to the Elkhart Airshow this year, but the fucking mayor canceled it because he spent too much money on the river walk instead of cleaning up crime or supporting the airshow

Blue Angels are boring in my opinion.

I like seeing the planes and tanks on the ground.

Great pics! I love air shows (I have been part of 2 now). My friends dad owns a Yak-52

I was flying in it when we did a low pass in formation with 2 other Yaks, and then he had it on the ground at the show for a while. Hope you had fun (sounds like you did.)

You're just trying to be mature on the Internet. I laughed, and you probably did too, or at least smiled inside.

O yea I did...I got sun burn so bad though....

My dad used to have a Challenger, but he sold it for a Sprint car

O snap...i don't think i took any pics of the Yaks...But those were the first planes I saw when i got there around 8:30

That part with all the warbirds in the air was the best I had ever seen!

I haven't been in a small aircraft in forever...I want to ride one so bad

Wait...is that a Yak in the pic with the four flying in formation?
Looks like a yak...and looks yellow...could just be the sun though

wait...could be a T-6... gah i can't tell from far away

I'd laugh if there weren't any people right where the damn jet crashed.

It wouldn't have any impact then; Face it you giggled, You're trying to be oh-so-mature,
Fuck even my dad would giggle at it. And it's not a "lol they're gonna die" giggle, It's more a "holy fucking shit" giggle.
