hmm, maybe I mis-understand your question.supertoaster posted:
do you mean keyframes as in tweening?
I'm waiting for tweening and save support. (and numpad triggering) When that happens I'm making so many movies. (both crappy and high quality)
Great work, man. Glorious work. :keke:
you would get more lua kings if you would stop wetting people's pants :argh:
Sorry. :(supertoaster posted:

How long is "soon"? :uhoh:
Sweet merciful crap. What a great idea. Kinged.
Didn't bother reading the thread. So here's my suggestion.
Make frame actions. By this I mean, allow us to name a frame and in another frame have a GotoAndPlay("namedframe") action so once a layer reaches that gotoandplay it will start at "namedframe" and continue. Much like Flash :).
Umm Having slight Problems.
First off if the prop or ragdoll is unfrozen it just floats away..
I can't seem to play it without having to wait for ages.
And also the frame by frame does not seem to work.
I do move it etc. Still nothing I'm most likely doing something wrong but oh well Nice tool :D
EDIT: Not to worry found out what I wrong, Now i can't get fraps working..
Do you need Beta for this???
If no, how to get that box with play, record and stuff???
I can't get the animation track up! what do i do?
Wow this is cool! So can these animations be saved to be viewed in rag-doll viewer/face poser? I mean can these be implemented into character models, like say for instance a game mode where you want custom animations?
Please say yes! Please say yes! Oh dear God let it be true!
Figured it myself, just press Cjobizzie posted:
Can anyone answer my question about using the animations outside of the game you created them in?
You can'tgrea$emonkey posted:
you might be able to but I'd need to write an SMD dump system that dunps the relative bone positions for each frame.
So maybe someday (Aka highly unlikely)
That would be great if you could. It would be like the in-game animator replacing 3ds Max or SOFTIMAGE|XSI Mod Tool but possibly easier!Hxrmn posted:
I don't know how I could thank you if you did that!
Bump for awesomeness.
Good afternoon, sir, you have owned garrys mod.
If anyone has seen any of my old stop-motion, this LUA just might convince me to get back into it...I never thought something like this would be possible.
What would be even more amazing (although probably very difficult to do) is if you could turn those animations into 3D modeling-software compatible versions.
Hello guys !
First- Iam from Slovakia and im so sorry for my English...
So, i have a problem with this thing. I have an Garrys Mod 10 running through Steam Buster Revolution. I have downloaded the Animation Suite BETA2 from this page. Copyed it to the addons folder and started the game, spawned an prop , took the Animator and LEFT click with it on it to "Add entity track" , and then the game crashes back to windows. No memory errors,no game errors, just the window saying: we are sorry...blah blah.
Can u help me ? Please.
P.S.- Sorry for that english.
ok why has this project come to an end? This mod is awesome and still has potential.
There's your problem. -.-my3tus posted:
also, mega bump.
Why would you create a ActionScript code with Lua?Sassafrass posted:
That defeats the purpose of Lua.
Haha I can imagine some gigantic battles between two forces. And the user just gets to watch in the middle of it all. Sweet!
I tried it, the Play button isn't working for me :(
I have selected a track, which has several keyframes in. I press Play, nothing. I can, however, scroll through the Timeline. :\
Also Record doesn't work either, it counts down then when it says GO it doesn't record any frames.
Okay, nevermind, I reloaded the map and for some reason it worked properly. But check that out, will you, it might be a bug of some sort.
Bumb for awesomeness
Bumped for great justice.
I hope this works in beta.
Duh, i mean the update.
This thread should be stickied, it's the posers tool.
This looks like an awesome addon, just the sort of thing I've beem looking for and
I wish I could use it, but I keep getting 'attempted to index a nil value' errors.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
I see this as evolving into an in-game "NPC maker." Perhaps a few years off, but a man can dream. Oh, and good job.
I finally managed to get this to work!
It's an awesome tool, really handy, and loads of fun. I can see it totally changing GMod movies. Can I suggest that the Track-list context menu be closed by re-pressing 'C'? It's a small thing but it would just make things easier.
yo nice mod but once you get the gmod update it doesn't work look you can see it clearly on these screenshots
1:just when click on the tool this appears
2,3:so then i add the 2 codes in console like you said in readme
4:then once i'm done with animation and want to use another this shows up i don't know why
I'll definitely download it and try it out, just one question: How did you get the blue scroll bar in the tools menu?
Is this project dead?
Please, Hxrmn, fix this for the update. (Shameless Bump)
can you weld stuff to it?,if so,CARNIVAL RIDES HERE I COME!
When i use it i get ":1: attempt to index a nil value" errors :(
Its old, Someone please fix this.
