Hello there! Ever gone into Garry's Mod, and found you can't weld stuff to yourself or anything like that? WORRY NO MORE! Here is an ent_fire command for you. This is an example for the thread (Yes, it works).

OK, This is a tutorial on how to PARENT objects to yourself (It will unweld the object you are looking at if it is welded, unfreezes too.)

An example, Create a barrel, don't squash it to yourself, or it will stop you from moving when you parent it. Remember that it turns WITH YOUR VIEW.

Look at it, and turn on cheats. Look at it, and type in console

 ent_setname barrel1

That gives it the name.

Now turn to the OPPOSITE direction you want it to be on you, I usually use barrels as a backpack.

Now WITHOUT moving, type in console:

 ent_fire barrel1 setparent !player

You have now parented it to yourself! Congratulations!

Now it's Your turn to post!



FACTS:

Fact - Yourself, Is specified by !player. If you want to do things to other players, you have to ent_setname them.

Fact - Things you parent, DO NOT STAY WELDED OR FROZEN.

Fact - typing ent_fire (object you want to delete) kill (Remove the brackets.) It will delete that object.

it removes gman's briefcase/gives Kleiner a clipboard etc.

I don't think the ent_fire works anymore in public(for normal users) with cheats on, Atleast last time when i tried to join into other team with ent_fire code it didn't work and many other things didn't work either.

That'd be !self, not !player. !picker is what you're looking at.

ent_fire skybox kill

this should remove sky box, if it isn't working find out where the sky box is and point at it while using command:

ent_fire !picker kill

This will reset the sky box camera to middle of the map that creates nice paradox that makes everyone say "what the fuck dude..."

Of course at gmod9 there was a lot more funnier ent_fire codes, now a lot of peoples gmod don't even know what ent_fire is.
some funny codes such as the one that did show zombie picture(zombie game mode logo) on everyone screen and father grigori 's mad laugh and ent_fire scripts like that(executed from configure file).

I don't know does this work anymore but at gmod9 it did work:

ent_fire team <color>

or something like that, with spamming it should update you into the team of your choice.

You should be able to edit some serverside tables too with ent_fire such as your score or kills but i don't remember anymore the names that you should use with ent_fire to change them.

I remember back in the days of Gmod 9 I would go around making buttons that set players on fire or fucked up their vision, it was laughable.

With ent_create :

ent_create prop_combine_ball; ent_fire prop_combine_ball explode

:D

npc_create npc_dog; ent_setname dog2; ent_fire dog1 setthrowtarget dog1; npc_create npc_dog; ent_setname dog1; ent_fire dog1 setthrowtarget dog2

Then spawn a oil barrel and one of the dogs will throw the prop to other...

It's such a shame that you can't do anymore anything on online because 50% of admins don't know what sv_cheats is and other 50% thinks that the rcon hack protection can be dybassed or they don't know that it's blocked.

If someone puts sv_cheats 1 , it is possible to kill a server

:D it burns the npc (any npc can be ignited)

the zombie becomes your friend :D

i have did this with my friend in school :D (but this is hl2dm)
i was the host and i just typing "ent_fire player ignite" randomly ...

but it works! xD and all was, "WTF!?!" xD everybody got panicked and i just laughed out loud xD
