    It amazes me at the amount of people who can't edit simple things like attack power or ammo count. Before you come posting here look in the shared.lua file or other files for the property you want changed. It's usually something like this Weapon.Ammocount.(variable)

    Jaanus, please make a custom overlay for the scope. Just because some of us don't have CS:S doesn't mean we don't deserve to snipe some poor bastard!! Really, man. How hard is it to make a custom refraction overlay?! IT'S A BUMP MAP, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!!!

    The sniper Alyx used in Episode 2 in the Freeman Pontifex chapter.

    It's based off Teta_bonita's realistic SWEP base, model by Valve, base script reworkings, animations, v_ and w_ model by me, Gun texture by Kaffi, bugfixes and the laser sight code by Armageddon.

    This is a wonderful SWEP.
    When you hold down Q or C, the laser will track to wherever your cursor is. It affects first and third person views - can you fix that?

    The sniper folder gets extracted to addons, and use WinRAR to extract the updates to the sniper folder.

    Hmmm, I don't know what the problem is. Try re-downloading it.


    As for the scope texture, I still don't know which file to edit.

    I love this swep, it's probably my favorite. Stupid crossbow... Anyway, may I suggest a sort of "charging" sound before the laser starts up. So many people have complained about it not working, only to have the laser show up in like five seconds. It's not much of an addition, but would add quite a bit to the swep. Perhaps also a power down sound when you put it away or are out of ammo.

    Yes, I have tried using npc_create_equipment
    They get rapidfire sniper rifles without a laser sight... So if we could get this working as an npc weapon.

    Yeah, I know... NPC_Snipers, but they don't have a gun and you need to kill them with nades. I'd prefer a mobile combine that has the awesome AI and snipes you. Wouldn't you?

    I'm fairly certain I tried it with civilians, and it's supposed to work with Alyx too right? I'm fairly certain either combine don't shoot the rounds, or are just so innacurate by AI that thye couldnt kill a single zombie.

    Also, the model is REALLY big. I mean seriously, it's like, 2m long. Wow.

    Just go into the Lua and edit the code to get rid of it.
    I had to, and it still works fine.
    If you need help doing that, let me know.

    If you go into the LUA folder, it will be the one that is not called "shared.lua", you go into that, and scroll down until you find something along the lines of "draw scope overlay" or something like that, I can't remember right now, so when I get home, I will take a look at it.
