Modulus Software Presents... Hoverboard

Info: This SENT/Scripted Vehicle hybrid allows you to skate around the level on a hoverboard. Complete with jumping, twisting, boosting and grinding, the hoverboard uses a unique system of physics simulation to provide smooth and easily controlled movement.
Controls: Face the direct you want to go and press forward. Jump power is relative to how fast you are going. Pressing strafe buttons in mid air will rotate you respectively. Pressing duck will temporarily disable the hover mechanism and allow you to grind.
(note: the board will hover over water but not under water. Additionally, you cannot jump while over water). Pressing sprint will engage your boost thruster. The trails identify the booster state. Blue = ready, Red = boosting, Yellow = charging.
Other Info: The UT3 hoverboard model was compiled by Jinto. Coding was a collaboration between Jinto and I. The sounds are all ripped from base HL2 content. Clients will download required content when joining servers.
More Shit: It works very well in both single and multiplayer. We chose
quality over quantity which means if you have too many of them in a server, you will experience lag. The reason being is the physics simulation is not an easy equation, and is called very often. Don't bitch about it because without it, the movement wouldn't be as good as it is. We're not going to change it. Jinto spent a lot of time optimizing it as best as he could. Also, we won't change it so you can attack while riding it, deal with it or change it yourself. There is probably more I should say, but can't think of it at the moment.
Disclaimer: Playing with this is incredibly addictive. I say that with experience. Jinto and I had a hard time keeping our 2 day project deadline because we couldn't concentrate on coding, and kept finding ourselves dicking around on them.
(yes it took us 2 days... so what, big whoop, want to fight about it?)
