Eh. It was just a thought, anyway.
It'd be nice if someone could come up with better AI, or random scripted behaviors for the NCPs. Then we could build little civilizations, with fellow citizens roaming around, doing stuff. Instead of a handful of Rebels following you around, getting in your way all the time. "Oops. Sorry Doctor Freeman."

As people are getting a little off topic, how about an Update:

The Daedalus model is being weird(issues compiling the model), and the F-302 is coming along nicely.

eZe has modeled an F-302 and it currently only has a basic texture and is looking good.

For those of you who think I'm amazing for making models, it really is very simple.

A friend thought that i made something really quick, (model on the left) and then I made another one (on the right) from scratch to show him it wasn't difficult.

Votekick do you think you could make a puddle jumper space dock, like just something that a puddle jumper could back up to and people easily move through the door into the dock. This would remove the need for a fighter bay for a smaller space stations.

Why don't you just change the model line in the shuttle entity? There's no need for a separate release for every single plane model, I'm only allowing things like the puddle jumper which have quite a bit of work extra done to them to be released based off my shuttle code.

I'm not lua expert. i can change of the shuttle. but the Dglider model don't have any physics.

That glider has no collision model.

If it doesn't have a collision model it's no good to anyone really. You can make it sort of work by adding another setmodel line to the bottom of the initialize function but it'll suck shit.

Thats what I was thinking, I need to work on texturing before that happens.

Designing one will not be so hard its the animation that will be. I'll talk to Glen about making one based on the airlocks for Models Pack.

It don't see hard, but what program do you use
3ds max, the video it so show how simple it is to model.

I am planning to remake the whole jumper model when i get time, which will be during the next set of school holidays, because I'm currently working on LS models for SnakeSVx.

I already said when you suggested, somebody else (a person who is not me) had already made a start on an F-302.

The F-302 has very little to do with me so I can't control what is or isn't included.

Edit:
I'm making a start on my new jumper, yes it will have a DHD, i plan for this to be the last model I have to make.

I've been having issues compiling the Daedalus model so I'm not sure I will be making any larger ships any time soon.

I only rushed the previous model because several people were uploading my model as a flyable Sent and were not giving any credit to myself or Space Build Models Pack (the place they would have gotten the model from) which just didn't go well with me.

PJB compiled the first version, and I can't get hold of him to get the collision mesh, so making my own and compiling it myself is easier.

Edit:
I also plan to add the drone compartment, and if you look, the roof of the newer version is curved like the show.

This is awesome, and we've been enjoying it for a long time on my servers, but could you please do one thing that I and my limited knowledge of Lua has not been able to manage? Your puddlejumper shuttle conflicts with the regular shuttle, where the crouch and jump commands from the regular ones carry over to the puddlejumper when both kinds exist on the server. Can you please rename the commands however you have to. so that the two versions of the same sent don't conflict anymore?

I'm just saying, because the ramps are awesome, you make the model so it can go through a SGC ramp without getting stuck in the railing.

nice job votekick with your models do you think you could make the cloak and door open so you can triger them with the keyboard without using wire on the new version for the puddle jumper you are working on and how do you zoom in/out with the current version of the puddle jumper? and will you add all this stuff to the stargate svn?

There is no way to have the door and the cloak on the keyboard because there are only so many keys I can access and I have used them all. The zoom controls are on the first post go read. This might make it on to the svn it might not just wait and see.

Yeah what he said.

We may make our own SVN, if I ever get the Daedalus model to compile, we might make a Sci-fi ships SVN.
This is just an idea being thrown around at this point.

Edit:
If we do make our own SVN then I just might make my own Wraith dart, or if I get lazy I'll just ask Catdaemon if I can include his.
