Hey, I'm going to make a video on Garry's mod, but it seems not to work. I've been searching for some while now, and everything tells me to enable "What you Hear" or "Stereo Mixer". But that's the problem. I don't have any of that;

Yes there's a trick to this.

"The trick is to right mouse click the loudspeaker icon on the task bar click on recording devices and right mouse click again to show disabled devices and disconnected devices and click on these to enable them."

Then you should see "what u hear"

Is there a video of this somewhere? Because I don't understand you + I can't see the disabled devices.

Does it work with XP?

You might need to update your audio drivers first.

Oh sorry, didn't realize you were using XP. Well, double click the speaker icon next to the clock. In the "play control" that opens, go options/properties, change "adjust volume for" to "Recording", and tick "what u hear" in the list below. If it isn't there, look for Master Control or All sounds or something.

How do I see what drivers I have?

Open Device Manager (My Computer > Properties > Hardware), find your sound card and do properties on that, then look on the Driver tab.

As for updating them (if there is a newer version), try your motherboard's website.

I had to do this recently when I bought a new motherboard before it gave me the Stereo Mix option.
