Too bad every fucking AK is out of stock. :ussr:
Too bad every fucking AK is out of stock. :ussr:
If you're looking for tactic|o|oLzZ AK's I know a site that sells them.
If it's plain AK you want, I'm not sure I can help you. :(
Oh god no tactical AKs ever in my possession. Wood and steel only, Спасибо.
Same here. Seeing any poor AK subjected to such a horrible torture would move me to emotion.
Is Classic Army any decent?
Not so much anymore. They used to be one of the best but anymore their quality has kind of taken a backseat, they're just not what they used to be. Their sport line guns are absolute shit too.
Better or worse than ICS? Because an ICS AKS-74u is the only thing I've found in stock over multiple websites. And even then I'm loathe to getting the 74u as I may one day want a GP-25/30.
Better.
What the fuck.
Derp, the ICS is better, is what I meant.
Ok, I'm going to be an annoying (massive) faggot and would really appreciate people's opinions on these manufacturers:
Classic Army
VFC
LCT
ICS
Ares
All AKs apart for Ares which is a PPSH.
Classic Army: Used to be shit but had a short period of being good. That period is over and their back to having great externals and horrid internals. Their ARs are still pretty good though.
VFC: Pretty great inside and out. Many AK purists swear by them.
LCT: Made body kits and furniture for a long time, which were terrific, but I'm not sure about their internals now, don't know anyone who has one, nor do I have one.
ICS: Used to hear horror stories all the time, but they have made a substantial leap in quality recently.
ARES: Used to be a branch of STAR, but now makes their own guns. Their overpriced and terrible. I know a guy who has the PPSH, and he says he likes it loads more than the Hexagon Productions and Hudson ones.
THUS I REFUTE THEE
ARES is a hit or miss. They vary from production run to production run and you should do a lot of research and take a lot of opinions and reviews before you make a purchase.
Let me say that the good runs are incredible. I have an ARES TAR 21 and I have no complaints, great gun.
Just realised that every other post on this page is by me. Sorrow. The Ares I'm only considering because every AK that I might possibly be interested in is out of stock. It's like the UK sites WANT me to go capitalist.
I have the same ICS 74M you are looking at. Havent had the chance to game it yet so I cant speak for interior quality but the externals are goddamn fantastic.

Actually I'm generally sticking to fire-support.co.uk and the only ICS they have is the AKS-74u.
But I'm not really considering the black one, seeing as woods are so hard to find. I even had the dirtiest of thoughts about AKs and rails. :smithicide:
Hey guys, I'm planning on getting into airsoft, and one of the websites I saw, www.precisionairsoft.com , had the rifle I was looking for about $20 cheaper than the next site. Does anybody know if it is a reliable site? I've gotten scammed when purchasing stuff on the internet before, so I tend to be a bit weary of buying from a site I never have before.
You really should be going to http://www.airsoftgi.com/. People around here swear by it.
I'd pass on that site.
I one bought something from these guys because it was the only place that had it. Three weeks later, it's not at my house, so I phone them up and they never answered for three days. Then I call them and threaten them to talk to me or else I will take legal action, and they pick up the phone mid call, when they finally send me the item.
Okay, thanks for the suggestions, guys. I just ordered my first airsoft gun from Airsoftgi :buddy:
Finally someone who's smart enough to take our advice.
We applaud you, what did you get?

I ordered that gun and scope, a bipod, some spare magazines, a fair amount of BB's, and some silicone spray.
nooooooooooooooo
have fun with your over glorified plinker and waste of 100 dollars
You just made the worst mistake. Sniping is not for beginners. I don't care how cool it seems because of CoD, it doesn't work that way. This is why one of my friends who used to be a sniper bought a G&G M16 and converted it into a DMR. If you really want to try out sniping, it's best to get an M14 or M16 with a scope so if you don't like it you still have a solid assault rifle.
Understand guys I may not be the most experienced player to the game, but I haven't gone without playing. I have played countless times with rentals and my friend's guns, and I was aware of this, but I feel like I made the right decision.
Do not EVER buy from airsplat, they send you shit in a paper bag.
We're more than aware of this.
You're going to eventually find out being a sniper is the most boring role in airsoft. And you'll find that using a bolt action sniper rifle is a terrible mistake as you get no more range than an AEG unless you buy hundreds of dollars worth of upgrades for your rifle.
All right, I trust you guys on this one. I was fortunately able to cancel that order. I put in a new one for an M4. It's a little bit more than what I was hoping to spend, but you guys convinced me, and I feel it'll be better in the long run.
Thanks again :buddy:
A g&g m4?
You are still the single most intelligent question asker we've seen so far.
Did you really waste your money on that shit? I had a sniper rifle once, I never used it because without a shit-ton of upgrades and other bullshit they're worthless and boring. I can't sell mine, hell I can't even give it away.
Edited:
Oh, thank god. What brand is it?
I've been looking on AirsoftGI, found one that I like. Is it pretty good?
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=6331
thats one flat ass top
flatter than a white womans ass !!!!
It's VFC, so yeah probably.
I like it because it's ambidextrous, since I shoot lefty. Not really sure on attachments, probably go with just a flashlight and a simple scope, nothing too expensive.
Nearly all airsoft guns are ambidextrous anyway. I just use my index finger to operate the fire selector if it's on the other side of the receiver.
Is this a good choice for a first gun?
