I live in Hampshire where the fuck do I go for airsoft

I found a few impossible to navigate sites, but the events only said "Walk-in" so I presume there's no payment.

Also, it'd be very nice if you guys could fill me in on some airsoft etiquette, thank you.

There's almost always an entry fee, unless it's some sort of promo event for the field.

Are any of these guns good? I'm looking for a cheap aeg around 170$ or below and was looking at the g&g combat series and I heard those were good. But I also came around to these guns and was just wondering if they were better or not.
http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog...oducts_id=2297 (any good ways to decrease the fps to 350?)

http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog...oducts_id=2228 (I really want to know about this one)
It would be nice if someone could list from top to bottom best to worst regarding the internals. Also would be nice if there was video showing these guns firing. For the m4s I'm looking for one with rails mainly top reciever, good internals and the bolt catch feature (where you pull back the bolt and it locks and you can press the bolt catch to release it). I want a gun I can play around with, I already have a main one but its too big for cqc which I don't do often.

Website seems really sketchy to me, tbh.

I've heard that the Army L85 is one of the better L85s on the market, but it's still not up to the standards set by other brands and models, afaik. One of my friends was looking at one a while back, he's going with a 416 instead.

My friend has bought from there before, he says just be careful with customs or something. But is G&G affordable series better than these guns?

I'd go with a G&G CM if you want an M4 pattern rifle. I'm somewhat of a G&G fanboy, so I can vouch for them.

They're both great guns, although from what I hear VFC are better quality in comparison to ICS.

100/$161 worth better quality or would I be better off saving that for gear?

That all depends how much money I have left after I finish paying rent and bills at the end of the first year of Uni.

I know I'm getting 350 back from deposit, but that was technically my dads.

Also, 450 from the Uni to help me, uh, "study". So 300-400 lets say. The ICS itself is 260 and I was interested in getting some authentic Russian/Polish camo and gear.

If you need extra money for a Russian loadout, go with the ICS, you'll need as much money as you can get.

Shit, do US stores ship to the UK? I pay 260 for an ICS AKS-74u when it costs 180 over the pond. :smith:

Maybe, you'll have to request they paint it orange unless you have a UKRA (or whatever its called) license. You'll also end up with about the same amount after shipping anyway.

Ok, not totally new to airsoft, but I am new to all this UKARA bullshit.

UK is the only country in the whole fucking world with this law. I am over eighteen but it's telling me to play at least 3 times at a UKARA registered airsoft site, but I have no Airsoft sites anywhere near where I live.
Anyone know how to get past this bullshit without having to pay for 3 airsoft venues? Thanks.

Give a friend that has a license the cash to buy the gun, he gives it to you. That's what I'm doing.

They can't do shit like take it away or force you to paint it once you own it.

I'm pretty sure that the T&C on AirSplat states that shipping across borders is legal, but very expensive and has to be painted orange.

Haha, why would I buy from AirSplat?

Anyway, it's nice that it's not a legal requirement to be part of UKARA, as it's basically paying to be able to buy something. The gifting of RIF's is actually stated to be fine in the guidelines.

Err, I'm new to airsoft and I brought a G&G RK47 /w Blowback after Christmas and I want to add a silencer onto it.
Where can I find out what silencers will and won't fit my gun?

Most silencers are 14mm counter clockwise

they also make ones that are 14mm clockwise

so just check the threads and see if they are counterclockwise or clockwise

Exactly. Over 80 shipping, and not to mention the VAT
