I'm actually not a fan of skins at all, but a buddy of mine has made a few that I think are pretty cool. Sadly some of them have our clan tag, but I think I may install them for a few days for shits and giggles.

This is for a guy that's an infamous scout in our group, he's annoying as hell with the scattergun. As a spy, he's the bane of my existence (I'd rather fight a pyro than Godspeed).

Actually, looks almost exactly the same as the final product, sans detail on the handle and the little metal thingy on the back. It also looks like there's a slight difference in length, but that's probably just me.

So, it's actually not VERY noticeable, just noticeable.

The current Flare Gun doesn't have the 'blunderbuss' look to it though. And this one is a lot more detailed than our current one.

It's only 7MB though, so if it's not classified as warez I'll upload it somewhere (the only difference is that it overrides normal gibs with the funny gibs that already come with TF2, and override the blood decals and particles to be grey/black)

The updated version also re-enabled blood splatter, but turns it bright yellow-green (I actually prefer it for hit detection over red blood), and also removes blood on the Axtinguisher and Ubersaw, which means they are official Valve versions of the bloodless weapons. :O

If enough people ask for it, I'll upload it all in a .RAR ready to be installed into TF2. (putting the .GCF back into your steamapps will not enable it)

Well now, my photoshop seems to have messed up.
It wasn't like this last week. I opened the v_bottle.vtf file in photoshop and now i get this:

My setting are all the same as last time but now it's like this?

I had actually intended to look over his unmasked spy as a base, as odd as it looked, but to actually make the material that way would have required some serious warping of ol' Heath Ledger's face; which is beyond my skill.

I would like to say I was the first to publicly release a skin for TF2, but I think it was deleted because it was in the beta. Rawr.

One of my favorite skins I have installed right now would be a very well made Blutsauger skin. It has a heart meter that plays an animated line which is very smooth.

The old BLU skin had a small monitor on the back, instead of on the side, you'll be able to see that on the video below. The creator remade the blue one, though, to have the monitor on the side as well.

And yes, he also made a BLU version.

A little warning, before you download this. It may look small, but this is a sixty megabyte skin. Yeah, I know, huge. But it is worth it, in my opinion.
