This map is awsome :D also the easter egg was also pure win, Throw the gnome in the toilet at the gas station and then you can go down there and se the easter egg ^^

How can you say it looks/feels like Stalker?! stalker has much vegetation water and swamps and you don't get the "alone" feeling, while this map is a giant desert where you really get the freaky "alone" feeling.overv161 posted:

My god this map freaked me out when i first played it lol
I was walking around near the gas station then i heard foot steps behind me so i turned around and saw nothing so i ran into the gas station and then there was a freakin zombie scream then i disconnected lmao...
But later on i turned the volume off and explored the whole map only way i could without freaking out and disconnecting xD...
Great map dude i thought rp_desert would never be topped but this is 100 times better (IMO)..and the atmosphere is just creepy...its like youre alone but somethings watching you..

I absolutely love the map. It has what other maps fail in: Atmosphere. The lighting, ambient sounds, little details like the radio, everything comes together flawlessly. When I realized the radio can be turned on, I just stood around there, listening to it. It was a little piece of comfort in the unforgiving wasteland.
I would love to see a sequel that takes you beyond this map area to someplace such as a ruined city, or the refineries and nuclear facility in the background.

I tested this map yesterday, and i think u are the map maker god of god's!
You should make a version two and add more house's to it, so people can roleplay on it. Love everything on the map except for the underground maze.

EPIC! Maybe a small camp near the gas station but otherwise its excellent for role play in my opinion and were already using it for that purpose! Lua kinged indeed!

seems to crash the server I put it on, annoyingly as I'd love to be able to get a few actors on here.

I have a slight problem. The ground textures, in some areas have become checkers. Almost like the pink and black textures, but... not pink and black but textured and good... but there are checkers all over them. I do not know what to do. Example:

DO NOT READ BELOW! EASTEREGG IS RIGHT BELOW THIS
While looking around,i went to that villiage with the door that went to the underground bunker, i went down the red path and going and i found a steel door shut, it was a medium sized room and it has blast marks on the door with a pick axe, and i think a body. anyways after looking at this i find a vent, so i noclip and in the vent is a garden gnome, if you hit it with a gun or crowbar, it screams "NOOO" really loud. it scared me the first time but it was funny lol

You need ep2 to stop that. Great map, fantastic atmosphere, i love the radio in the garage. A higher quality ground texture would be good, but all in all, an amazing map. I'm pretty sure you could fool someone into thinking this is Fallout :D.SatansSin posted:
