I emailed Valve a long time ago, like July or August, to ask for autographs on my games. They said yes, so I mailed them in.

I emailed them again recently. Kinda felt bad about doing it, but I'd really like to get my Portal 2 back before I get shipped off. My brother really wants to play with me before I go.

Still no response on that. You guys think they kept them as payment for the tour, or something? :B

Woah, you're kind of asking a big thing. If he didn't reply for the first time, I doubt he will reply for the second one. This stuff that "would be cool" costs a lot of money. And well just in my opinion it's kind of rude to bother him asking to give a lot of free shit.

I wasn't asking for a lot, I just thought that if people that visit the company get boxes of free stuff, asking for 2 or 3 pieces of merchandise would be a less great favour.

I don't want cool stuff I just want any piece of merchandise that we can raffle away for charity. The way I think of it is that even if he gave us one thing the thought that someone could win a valve item will entice a lot of people in my school to pay money for raffles.

also I sent my email on a sunday afternoon (saturday night/early morning for him) so maybe by the time he came back to work on monday it was long gone.

well i need a licence for each computer in one classroom, so that's $50 * 24 to 32 computers = $1200 to $1600
so yeah, a huge discount would be helpful

They once said in an e-mail that in about a month they will make Steam accounts with free Portal 1/2 copies for it for students to learn or something.
