Well, since the L4D Official Wallpaper aren't that great, i decrypted then converted the L4D Menu Screen video to the DreamScrene format.

I hope you like it, it supports Widescreen screens

Can I have this in a video file format so I can use it on mac via Save Hollywood? Preferably like a minute long so the loop isn't noticable.

Wow this is great, I'm glad I have Ultimate. The only problem is the grainy filter; if you turn it off in options does it turn it off on the main menu? If possible could you do a grainless one?

Don't install that patch.

That's a hack for those without ultimate.

It should be an available optional update for you (look for DreamScene).

Go to the Left 4 Dead Demo folder and find the gamestartup1 in the sound/ui folder. Now make it repeat when it's playing and it's perfect.

You can do this without Vista's rubbish.
1. Download VLC media player

3. Right-click on video and select DirectX desktop

Make it into a Dream file, beings Stardock's DeskScapes works on all versions of Vista.

Anyway, thanks for the dream. This is quite awesome.

How could a person be happy with XP when they could be using Vista or Windows 7? Enjoy your laggy video background on XP, while me and my Vista can run it with a minimal 10% drop in RAM and a 2% drop in CPU.

Enjoy your no Dual Core support.

10% is pretty high actually... I think I'll keep my static background. Though I do admit if there were no performance issues with this I'd jump on immediately (if there was a way to use dreamscene on XP, that is)

10% is not actually that much, seeing as I barely use any in the first place and you have to factor in all the other background stuff running. Although I do have 3GBs of RAM and most people only have 1.

Yeah... the early patch does that. I'm not sure why he kept it in the first post, but if you go to the bottom of the first post - THAT is the one that works and doesn't corrupt your personalization page.

What I did - I went into my Windows / System32 folder and renamed the "themecpl.dll.original" back to "themecpl.dll" and deleted the other themecpl.dll. If you don't have a "themecpl.dll.original" then I don't know what to tell you.

I can't install it because apparently the DLL's are being used by another process.

This is the only reason I hate vista. Because of this "being used by another process" BULLSHIT.
