No, it won't work. Add-ons don't apply to reskins. Reskins won't work if you put it in add-on format.

Dammit, I tried to change them, but it didn't work. For some reason, not all of the textures get rid of the color black so the background can be black... so I'm not sure what color the combine tracer background is supposed to be.

All I can say is *throat clear* :excited: This is a fine example of texture change. You took a tired old concept and made the game look more like L4D (but still not even close.) Great job, man! :) Keep it up!

Erm, they're effects, you don't spawn them. Just make a muzzleflash emitter or a TNT stick for an explosion.

These effects are awesome but do these effects replace the ones we use or are they only usable from that effects tab that posers use for comic book? If I explode something will Teh Awesome Explosion show up instead of the normal explosion? And do you have a replace for fire? Or at least no how to? The fire used in CS:S works much better on my computer and I'd love to know how to incorporate that into Gmod.

This replaces them.
The default ones are shitty, and these effects don't lag, there is NO reason why you shouldn't choose and take.

If you play something like HL2, HL2 Deathmatch, or any of its many mods (like Insurgency or Zombie Panic Source) The effects will work in all of them!

YouTube FTW! Just check out some videos showing you how to get editing software free. I etc. have Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere :/
