Holy shit do you really need to post up a slow loading image?
P.S: You have to solve all the puzzles before you can go upstairs to World 1.

Loaded instantly for me. Also this.
Gave up collecting puzzles at World 2, shits hard. :Dawkins102:
Keep trying, it's worth the time.
I gave up on level 1 then i beat all worlds and realized I needed the puzzles to beat the game XD![]()
Why would you not know that you had to get all the puzzles to unlock the last world?
I thought it was for extra fun BAHAHHAHA, I am gonna get on later and do all the puzzles.
You have to find all the puzzle pieces.
I finished this game yesterday, didn't pay much attention to the story. What I got from this is that Tim is really obsessed with the princess. I also see that you find out at the end that the game is done literally backwards. I'll have to play this again to understand it more.
GAHHHHHHH. I downloaded the demo, not expecting much, and I was genuiely surprised when it turned out to actually be a rather good game. The only problem is WHY THE FUCK WILL IT NOT RUN IN FULLSCREEN? WHY DO I HAVE TO RUN IT IN A WINDOW THAT DEFAULTS TO A RESOLUTION THAT'S SLIGHTLY BIGGER THAN MY FUCKING RES SO I CAN'T SEE SOME OF THE GAME? I HAVE A 15" MONITOR RUNNING AT 1024x768. I KNOW IT'S A LOAD OF COMPLETE SHIT, BUT IT'S ALL I'VE GOT FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. God damn it.
Braid runs in full screen for me.
Try downloading the updated demo:

It's a test build, but it's supposed to fix problems people have been having. If it works, he's going to redistribute this across the internet and patch the full version as well tonight.
Wow the last few parts of world 6 are fucktardedly hard. I still haven't figured them out.
I just bought the game 2 days ago and beat it today. I must say it was fantastic! The story was great, but I'm sad that I beat the game now :(
However I'm trying to get all the stars now to get the alternative ending. But the last 2 stars (excluding the final one on the Braid level) are a bitch to get :C
I completed all the puzzles.
Now I'm at the last level (Or the first level of the whole game) of World 1
Edit:
Finished the game. Finished the puzzles. Just need to find the stars now.
i know about the alternate ending, but what stars are you talking about?
Tried the demo, not my thing but decent music.

Also
Alternate Story is that Tim is one of the scientists who worked on the first atomic bomb and the princess is a metaphorical representation of the bomb itself, as if you collect all 7 hidden stars then go to the princess - She explodes.
That's not the alternate story, that's the story itself but the alternate ending is simply changing the "destiny" of what was meant to happen in favor of Tim. Besides, technically that's not what the whole story is about anyways.
Also the stars are very very hard to get hidden items scattered in the worlds. You pretty much NEED a walkthrough to get them, and even then they are pretty hard to get. There are 7 of them hidden in the game, and the 8th one you get once you complete the alternate ending (which only is possible if you get the 7 stars, one of which requires a new game).
Hurf durf games are art.
I enjoyed the demo, but I'm not sure whether I want to buy it.
But the soundtrack on the other hand, I'd buy that.
Yeah, and i have no idea/the patience on how to get them.
That IS the alternate story, what have you been smoking?
In order to get the 8th star, you have to get all 7 stars first, then on the last level of World 1, the 2 levers you pull have the green aura around them, and when you use the second one, you have to go back in time to first one, and then when it gets to the chandelier, you have to jump on top of it when it's going up, and the Princess explodes. Then you go to her house and you see the 8th star in the corner.
Atleast the price is not as insane as for that other game, that wants 18 bucks for an unfinished product.
Also here are the locations of the stars:
1: In Tim's House.
2: World 2-2
3: World 4-5
4: World 4-7
5: World 5-4
6: World 6-5
7: World 6-6
8: World 1-1
I mean, the fact that Tim is a scientist and the Princess represents the atomic bomb (which isn't actually what she represents, the bomb is just used as an allegory for "something larger") isn't just the alternate story, it IS the story of the game as a whole.
Also, Braid has an editor!
Here's a linky on how to get it started:

There's no documentation at all on it so... right now it's more or less playing around and discovering for yourself how things work.
Sorry for bump, new version released today for both the demo and the full version. It fixes a lot of the crashing/graphics errors some people have been having in their machines.
I love this game, really fun.
Which made me all the more angry when a friend of mine said it was shit just because it was a 2D platformer and graphics were all that mattered. If I wouldn't be banned I'd post the chat log. Goddamn.
My friend is just like that. He's a fucking crysis nerd and all 2d games of any type sucks for him.
I'm playing it right now...
It's fun figuring something out, some are really hard though. I like it.
That was time paradox, not bomb. It has nothing to do about the atomic bomb
Also the FUCKING shattered green key everybody warned me about is terrible. What was he thinking.
You can "reset" a level simply by exiting and entering it again though, so it's not exactly a permanant mistake.
I know, but come on. It's just so inconvenient and bad design, the games selling point is the whole "you can undo everything", but apparently you can#t when it comes to green keys.
Though, the rest of the game is amazing, I really like the puzzles. They are challenging and just so clever.
It's not as good as World of Goo, but it comes near.
What the hell is so brilliant about World of Goo?
I played the demo. Was very unimpressed. Come on... It's so simple.
Braid is surprising and clever. Surprisingly clever, on might say =)
Can't figure this shit out haha.. world two. :c
Oh, wow, the platform in the puzzle. Well played. :3
Call a friend. My friend helped me :D
I figured it out, that shit was clever with the platform embedded into the painting . It's amazing how they put thought into every little enemy in this, they all have part in helping you.
I figured that out by pure luck. I accidently walked on the platform in the painting
At first i was like D: but then i was like AHAW!
Seeing the prices of World of Goo and Braid, Garry should have totally charged more for Gmod.
The entire theme of the game is meant to be ironic, the point is you cannot undo your mistakes.
I loved Braid, loved the plot twist, the alleged plot parallel whether it is done on purpose or not and the entire style of the game.
